Re: ShadowClan Warriors' Den
She jolted awake at the sound of wind whistling through the tops of the pines, so cold and brittle to her ears that she shuddered and pulled scraps of dried-out moss over her pelt. It wouldn't do much to conserve her warmth, but she would take anything. She ground her teeth together and winced at her shivering body; the chattering continued nevertheless. Her eyes slid lazily, half-lidded, across the interior of the den. The loneliness that battered her ribcage soon overwhelmed the cold as she woefully looked at the sleeping forms in their own nest. She wouldn't be cold if she had someone to curl up with.
She bit back a sob so senseless she almost got confused enough to forget her troubles. She didn't cry over this. Not much, anyway, and certainly not when the hour was rat's-tail-midnight. It was because she was miserable, drowsy, freezing, and still listening to the unwelcoming, brusque winds outside. Maybe it wasn't crying, either, and just some accidental noise she made trying to suppress her shivering. It could be the remnants of some malicious dream, too. Sleep came creeping over her shoulder so she chose not to dwell on it. Nobody made much sense when the moon was at its zenith. She tucked her nose under her tail and curled into a tight ball, burrowing deeply into her nest. A gale made her ears twitch, unnerved, but the darkness swam before her eyes invitingly. She hummed noncomittally and dozed off into a deep sleep. Often, she dreamed of the first time blood oozed between her paws and dried, cracked, onto her claws. She might as well have had the talons of a raptor, swooping above the sea for the silhouette of a fish, with the way her claws cut cleanly through her enemy's throat. As they died, choking, she idly listened and studied how the blood on her claws reflected and refracted in the lazy dusk sunlight. Golden hour, it was called. When the skies turned so orange-red that even the green grass couldn't resist the fiery finale before silver glided across the hills. Bitterbane wasn't one of the good ones. |

Sweetbriar wondered why no one ever sat in the warrior's den.

Re: ShadowClan Warriors' Den
Blazestripe paced playfully into the den. "Hey anyone in here." He shouted, no answer came. He plodded over to the other side of the den in slow hefty steps. He was almost happy that he was so tried, that way he didn't feel so lonely.

Re: ShadowClan Warriors' Den
Cleaning snow out of the warriors den eh? seems easy enough, his nest was getting a bit cold anyway. she started to shovels some up and push it out, getting some snow on a few cats ion the process. |

Once he had finished shoveling snow out of the warriors den he noticed and icicle, feeling oddly childish he licked it, but then his Toung got stuck-, he pacnicked-. |
Re: ShadowClan Warriors' Den
Flamegaze entered the den and quickly made her way over to her nest. once she was nestled in the confines, she allowed herself to panic and tried to accept the Idea that she was a mentor now, with an apprentice.

Re: ShadowClan Warriors' Den
Spottedshadow stalks into the warriors den. He was a new warrior of the clan and had been so focused on becoming one that he had formed few connections with his clan mates. However, with his goal accomplished, he curls up in an empty nest and hopes to find friends within his clan once more.

Re: ShadowClan Warriors' Den
Flamegaze entered the den, searching for her nest, and found it was covered in a layer of snow. Great, she thought. she began shoveling the snow away, tossing it really anywhere but in her nest. she might have hit a few cats with it, but she ignored their glares. if they wanted to confront her she would deal with it. There were plenty of nests still covered in snow, so if someone wanted to help her, she wouldn't mind that.

NightWolf came out of the den and stretched, the large tabby yawned and looked around, he starts to give himself a good wash as he waits for the camp to stir.

She'd caught a cardinal during Palepaw's hunting training and was looking forward to using the soft feathers she'd plucked from it to cosy up her nest. She placed them carefully, spreading out the softer feathers and putting the longer feathers around the edges for decoration. |

Its really late into the night, NightWolf woke up and looked around the warriors den, he is the only one awake right now, he can hear the steady breathing of his clan mates around him and he sighs. Getting up quietly he gets up and leaves the den, outside he takes a deep breath and looks up at the stars, he wonders why he has been having sleepless night, only starclan knows. |

Re: ShadowClan Warriors' Den
NightWolf was sleeping in the den, he was muttering something in his sleep, "Foul beast.." he says, his paws moving around and his claws slightly unsheathed In his dream he was battling that fox again, the fox with the missing eye, a reminder of its encounter with Night, but it always ends the same, with Night laying on the floor bleeding out as the fox comes after him to finish him off, it opens its jaws and bites down and he wakes up with a jolt Breathing heavily he looks around to see he is still in the warriors den,was he scared? He was shaking slightly, his fur was bristled up and his claws were out ready for battle, he takes a few deep breaths "One day Ill fight that fox again... and I will not lose," he promises himself |
Re: ShadowClan Warriors' Den
After another day of hunting and intense training NightWolf enters the den, his makes his way through the other warriors without disturbing them and gets to his nest, he washes himself for a bit before he lets out a long yawn. Laying down he closes his eyes, for a moment he listens to the world around him, the sound of his clanmates breathing, some of them twitching in their sleep, the scuttle of creatures outside of their camp, the breeze blowing outside. Its all perfect and with that, he drifts off to sleep, tomorrow, he will hunt and train again, all for the sake of his clan |
Re: ShadowClan Warriors' Den
Goopypaw felt good after clearing the snow from the apprentice's den. Why not help out the warriors? Icicle's hung from the entrance - a headache for whoever they fell on! So Goopypaw lept up and snagged them down with a bite. That way they wouldn't get stuck to his paws! So why was this one not coming off his tongue? Oh no...
