Nightkit turned, perking his ears as he looked at the she-kit and nodded. "I'm not sure I've seen you before," he mewed. "Who are you?

"Oh, I'm, umm, Moonkit!" She mumbled. "Umm, is there anything to do around here?"

Lightningkit peeked her small head out of the nursery. She'd then look back to the kits, and the queens in the nursery. Her stomach would rumble. Being only a few weeks old, Lightningkit needed her mother's milk. But her mother had slipped away from her. Died. The terrible, and gruesome memories of Doesnap's death flashed in Lightningkit's head. Rouges. Foxes. Dogs. She'd then snap out of her trance, hearing the screech of a barn owl. She'd shudder at the bird of prey's wail. She knew what was going to happen.

Koipaw padded into the nursery after the meeting. That was so weird.... she thought. Why would there be a meeting just for that? And how could that apprentice just have.. disappeared? As she padded into the nursery, the familiar sights and smells surrounded her with warmth and comfort.
"I forgot what I was like to live here.." she mumbled, wishing she could stay here forever. Then she saw a kit that looked very lonely, talking about her mother. She padded toward it, hoping to comfort it.
"Little kit, what's wrong?" she whispered, sitting down by her and looking into her eyes. @Whisker
