Hummingbirdpaw stands and looks at her mentor, feeling quite embarrassed. She told herself beforehand to not be too hard on herself because she was still young, but she wanted to be a warrior. This time, she decided not to say anything, in fear of offending or making Yellowsnarl angry. She can't stand to keep eye contact at this point, so she drops her gaze.

"Attack". Called Yellowsnarl
(All good)

(If I don't reply to your post after this post I'm doing, then I have left my house and wont be back till Sunday).

(OK, RP more then!)

Quailpaw stood up, breathless but invigorated, and couldn't help but glow at his mentor's praise. But a moment later he was subdued again. Would he soon be using these moves against innocent cats, if Dawnstar could get any more insane? Fresh determination to undermine his leader's tyranny reinforced his usually grumpy mood. "Thanks, " he grunted. "Are we going to do hunting next?"

@Snow Carrot
"Yes, but hunting practice will be for another day. Let's go back to camp and you can get some rest," Blackforest meowed. "You did good today."

"Ok." Quailpaw said, somewhat relieved. He padded back into camp behind Blackforest, mind still racing with excitement.

Training had begun!

(Sorry for the short reply, I can type more later)

The apprentice curtly nodded. She backed up a little bit, and proceeded to lean back into her back legs to prepare for the attack. She sprung up into the air, attempting to aim for her mentor and trying to point her claws at Yellowsnarl. She could only hope for the best this time.

Yellowfaing felt claw-tips hit the skin of her chest, but the only thing the apprentice got was fur. "Nice!" Praised Yellowsnarl. "If you were stronger, and larger, that would have been a hefty hit."

Hummingbirdpaw's eyes brightened at the praise from her mentor. "Wow.." she whispered. She understood that she was quite small so it made sense that she only got fur, but she was still proud of herself. She was still quite self conscious about her small size though. "Will I ever grow any bigger.. do you think?" she questioned. She was a little nervous to ask the question, in case she didn't get the answer she wanted.

"Of course, it just takes time." Mewed Yellowsnarl, in a soft, near purr voice. "But the harder you train, the stronger and bigger you grow. Now, you seem focused enough, so attack me again, no claws." Yellowsnarl instructed, going back to her regular, neuteral voice.

"Right. Okay then." Hummingbirdpaw said. She let out a breath she didn't know she was holding. Yellowsnarl's different tone of voice confused her a bit and calmed her down, but she decided to not think much of it. Hummingbirdpaw kept herself composed and prepared to attack. She was coming from a bit of angle this time, not really realizing it. Being quicker this time, she leaned back and sprung into the air, aiming for her mentor.

As Foxpaw ended up escaping her blow, Doeflame was spinning for the continued attack as her apprentice rammed into her, wobbling her considerably but not enough to knock the large warrior over. Taking a rather stumbly step back that could be exploited by a speedy lunge, she swung a paw forcefully at Foxpaw's front legs, hoping to trip them out from under her. The blow wasn't very powerful, but it was fairly well aimed considering how tippy she was.

Foxpaw smiled excitedly when her idea kinda worked. The next thing she knew she was tumbling onto the dirt. Foxpaw swiped at Doeflames shoulder from her place on the rock
