Appledream tilted her head and frowned. "Want something? I only want to be friends~" she purred. She pranced after him, confused by the change in direction. "You're a good cat! Of course you're worthy of me. I mean, I know I'm pretty great... but not that great." She frowned again, puzzled by his reaction to her statement. "I thought we were going hunting together. "Thrushspring? Are you sure you're okay? I worry about you~" she cooed, looking up at him hopefully. She had completely changed tactics, and was now gentle and kind, instead of flirty and pushy. "What's best for me is to be with you~!" she shouted desperately, sure the entire clan could heat her.

His eyes widened hearing those words and almost immediately he turns to her and bears his teeth yet a other rare thing “ You... You.. those words who told you them? “ he says now his claws were out and he was shaking a bit. “ lies. You lie!” He yells now with wide eyes and tears falling down his face now his heart was beating even more, he was shaking he was freaking out badly. Those words... were used once, to abuse him. To hurt him and make him feel worthless and scared. With that fact of her trying to be nice and speak to him which first scared him a bit now he was freaking out thinking she was probably like her.. like that monster. Soon he begins to suddenly lay down covering his ears “ you lie! It’s all lies!! You don’t care! You never care!!” He growls as he claws the ground a bit than he suddenly realized what he was doing quickly he gets up “ I’m sorry! Please don’t hurt me I can change really please just... don’t hurt me..” he says breaking into tears poor guy can’t handle so much in one day. ( don’t worry he okay :3)

Soon his tears began to dry a bit as he begins to get up shakingly and soon just press his head against hers “ I’m sorry just ... freaked out a bit. I’m not... used to such things and tha last cat I trust.... ended up hurting me pretty badly.” He Says a bit scared as he steps back “ ... I .. don’t want to see you crying as well I just.. Appledream breathed deeply and nodded. As he touched his head to hers she froze, wondering if perhaps this was one of her elaborate daydreams. She doubted it, as it was beyond even her imagination for Thrushspring to willingly touch her. "It's okay! I was just startled by your..." she paused, not knowing what to say there, "whatever that was." She waved her paw, gesturing to the tom as a whole. "I get it, I forgive you," she started, hear heart beating in anticipation of what she was about to say. "I never really trust anyone either. Not even... you. Not until we truly get to know each other," she confessed, blushing slightly. "Enough of that, I think. Are we still going on our hunting trip~?" she laughed, not actually joking. She refused to just be a friend, but it was a start. It was closer than she had ever been, so she decided to tread carefully until their friendship with him was less shakey.

Appledream smiled, but froze at his last statement. "Yes, great friends," she said harshly through gritted teeth. She cleared her throat and shook her head, laughing off her sudden bitterness. "So, what do you like to hunt?" she asked, trying to make small talk to lighten the mood a bit. She figured she could slip in a bit more flirtatious language while they chatted. The molly knew too much pushing would make her lose Thrushspring as a friend, and she didn't want that... well... she wanted to change the friendship into something more. She tried her best to forget about her childish crush for a moment, but found it difficult to shove away her feelings. A new daydream popped into her head, one where they were mates and had kits. It seemed wrong, though, to be so settled. She wasn't ready to have kits, she wanted to be a lighthearted, single warrior for a while so that she had an excuse to flirt and have fun.

Appledream tilted her head up to the sky, thinking. Finally she answered, "I like rabbits. Sure they're kinda fast, but they're usually big and plump." the molly licked her lips, trying to remember the last time she had hunted. The truth was, she liked to eat rabbits, not hunt them. She rarely hunted or trained anymore, trying to take it 'easy'. "Been a while since what?" she asked, suddenly sounding very chipper. She leaned forward as if he were going to divulge a secret to her, though she doubted that was the case. In her newest daydream, they were exchanging secrets because they trusted each other, though their current situation was far from that. This small talk was covering up their insecurities instead of addressing them.
