A noise broke Rainkit's peaceful slumber. Was that gurgle? She craned her neck awkwardly in search of the gurgle-maker. Getting up felt like alot of work.

"Fa-" she started. She was interrupted by a post nap rasp. "Fawnkit?" She tried again.

Leafkit wanted to express her dissagreement, but she didn't want to hurt anyone's feelings. I'm not to small! Or too young! She would've squeaked, but stopped herself. She fixed her one light green and one dark green stare at her paws.

Leafkit sighed, pressing her cold nose into her father's fur. She was shy, and she hung by him while her other littermates chattered. Right now, the chattering brown tabby felt she could take on the world. No matter how small she was, no matter her age. She felt she could beat any prey, any warrior.

Ravenkit huffed in annoyance at his fathers words. After glancing at Leafkit and determining that his sister thought that was stupid as well, looked up at Burnclaw. "We're not too small! And we're a whole two moons old, thats like... sooo close to six moons! We should be allowed out! If we get cold we can just come right back in!" He rolled his eyes as if that was obvious.
