Wolfpaw mewed.
He sniffed and looked around to try to find it,
Let's see...that's a bush, that's a plant, a root......ah a shrew! They're so tiny!
He thought.
The gray tabby stalked the shrew quietly, upon getting close he pounced, landing his paws on it's heads. He quickly bit it's small throat and looked back to Lotusheart with the shrew in his mouth.
"I caught it!"
Wolfpaw mumbled.

Lotusheart smiled. She was very impressed with Wolfpaw's hunting ability.
"Excellent catch. Keep this one safe and try to catch something else. I'll go a bit further and try to catch some prey, too." she mewed, stalking off. Her nose picked up the scent of thrush. The small bird had landed on a nearby tree root. She carefully crept forward and leaped, catching the bird in her mouth.

"Okay!"
Wolfpaw mewed.
He padded away from his mentor, sniffing for some prey.
After a few minutes of looking around, he noticed a mouse by a bush.
Great some prey!
He thought.
The gray tom crouched and slowly stalked the small rodent, but the mouse had already seen him and dashed away, leading to Wolfpaw accidentally pouncing into the bush.
Wolfpaw tried to pull away but it turned out it was a thorn bush and his fluffy, thick pelt had gotten stuck.
"Help!"
He cried.

Lotusheart heard her apprentice's cry and dropped her thrush. She dashed over to the thorn bush Wolfpaw had gotten himself stuck in. She tried pushing away the thorns but her paws were too big and clumsy and her muzzle was too huge to bite through the branches unharmed. After some poking she managed to cleat the thorns a bit. This is probably gonna hurt him. She pulled him our of the thorn bush.
"Oh, dear! Let's go back to camp. You need to see the medicine cat. Why do you always get hurt while hunting?" she mewed worriedly.

"i don't know....."
Wolfpaw mewed.
The thorns stuck in his fur hurt badly, why did he always get hurt while hunting? Is he really that clumsy?
His bushy tail lay low, though it hardly had any thorns, what hurt most was it face since he had landed head first into the thorn bush.
Wolfpaw silently padded a tail length away from his mentor on their way back to camp.
(do i have to like apply for healing or can he just go now?)

(Then perhaps it's open to all. Go ahead post and Dipper will probably tell you if you're not supposed to do that.)

Gentle steps padded carefully through the short amount of forest that separated cat-tail pond and the river. Her paws were small, and she always kept an eye out for where she would step so it was easy to be silent. Whitedove smiled with satisfaction at being able to accomplish this- it seems like something someone could do easily but you'd be surprised by how much of her free-time was spent practicing it.

And yet, mere moments later she looked back up to find herself not at the water but deeper into the woods. How did I not notice I was going the wrong way? Whitedove thought to herself embarrassed. Somehow she still managed to get herself into these shenanigans after becoming a warrior. Sighing, she looked around and listened carefully to get a grasp of where she was at.

With a flick of her ear she could hear the river but could not see it, the smells of her clan comforting her. It meant she was still in their territory. Whitedove felt like a fool as she decided to follow the scent rather than the noise. Carefully again she remained, but she couldn't watch her paws or she would just get lost again.

Whitedove continued on, cautiously slipping through some undergrowth to find herself in a clearing. Looking around as she took a step, her paw landed on something that was not the foliage, dirt, grass, or leaves from before. She looked down to see a twig but could not stop herself as she snapped the twig in two. The noise was for some reason way louder than it should've been, or maybe it just felt that way as in that moment she noticed a cat on a rock that she hadn't realized was there before.

She froze.

Gentlethunder

He was thinking of how he was supposed to come back and actually explain why he was gone. It wasn't a super cool, or heroic reason. He'd just managed to get lost. Tumbled off the side of the Cliffs and latched onto the rocks until he felt he was able to swim back. Not that he wanted to admit he just tumbled over. However, a sharp snapping sound pulled him out of his thoughts.

The Calliby looked up to see a Molly...he couldn't place if he knew her or not. After sitting there for a few moments he simply gave the Warrior a grin. "Hiya. Don't think we've offically met. But I'm Gentlethunder. I've been gone a few days, almost positive no one's noticed except maybe my Apprentice but..she's been busy too. Bumblebutt wouldn't notice." he thought aloud as he tilted his head to the side. "Perfect timing though. If you could take me to Camp so I could talk with his highness that would be wonderful. Need to explain my absence." the burly feline explained. Picking himself up. Honestly he looked...even more feral. his fur had grown a bit longer. Probably just because it was getting colder, and it was even more messy. Whispy.

"If you don't mind that is."

What time was it? Date time!

Or so Lionstar liked to think as he trotted toward the dense forest that made up Sleepy Thicket, tail swishing excitedly behind him as he glanced back to make sure his favorite Fawn was following. Fawnfavorite. It wasn't as classy as Pine Fawn or Fawncute, but it'd work. Fawni-cutie. Fawncutie? Hmm.

"Faawwwwnn," he drawled a little as he spun to face his friend, raising his paw to lightly bat at Fawn's face to get his attention before he full on leaped to knock into him, planning on pinning him if it worked. He spied a very boopable nose but Lionstar simultaneously also determined it could only be booped... if he was on top of Fawn. "Fawwwwwwwwwwwnnn, it's like I never see you anymore, Fawwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwn."
