Re: ShadowClan Training Cliffs
Taking a moment to steady herself before advancing on her sprawled apprentice, Doeflame was caught off-guard by the swipe for her shoulder, dodging it but slipping on a few loose rocks that were below her, tumbling to the ground with her front paws folded under her. Scrabbling up, as the rocks remained there, she was unable to reach her feet before Foxpaw, who had a head start on the getting up. @Snow Fox

Re: ShadowClan Training Cliffs
Foxpaw shoved herself up and glared at Doeflame. She launched herself at the warrior hoping to pin her and end the fight. She remained ready to dodge just in case though. @gs29513

Re: ShadowClan Training Cliffs
Rather amused by the fact that the smaller apprentice was attempting to pin her, even though she was still a bit on the ground and tipsy, Doeflame steadied herself, swinging her shoulder out at the apprentice in an attempt to knock her to the ground, followed by a sideswipe from her front paw that might catch Foxpaw if she had indeed been knocked to the ground. @Snow Fox

Re: ShadowClan Training Cliffs
Seeing that her apprentice was beginning to tire somewhat, Doeflame pressed on, swinging her strikes more often in an attempt to keep Foxpaw busy enough to prevent an attack on herself. Attack was the best form of defense, at least for her. One front paw aimed for a cuff of the ears while the other swept low and hard, possibly knocking out a leg if it caught one. The higher paw, having followed through regardless of whether it grazed anything or not, would dip for a strike aimed for a shoulder before she gathered her paws in to react to anything that might be thrown at her. @Snow Fox

Re: ShadowClan Training Cliffs
@Slushie {Sorry this took so long!} Stepping foot onto the rocky terrain of the training cliffs, Finchwhisker halted briefly and pivoted around to make sure his apprentice was behind him. He had no idea how far along Rumblepaw was in his training, but he was going to have to figure that out for this whole ordeal to be efficient. "Have you had any sort of battle training before?" He was hoping the answer would be a "yes" so they could at least skip over the basics, but that was rather unlikely. Apprentices who needed mentor reassignments rarely ever seemed to have much previous training, so he was prepared for a "no". In either case, he had a general itinerary planned out in his mind for what they might try to accomplish today. |
Re: ShadowClan Training Cliffs
Moonpaw was Confused. A random warrior had woken her up just to tell her to go to the training cliffs when no one was here! She could have spent the time hunting. Yet she was no stranger to surprise attackers so she paced the cliff, all of her senses on the lookout for any signs of a potential mentor. @Jxno |
Re: ShadowClan Training Cliffs
@QueenCuphead Owlspots lead the annoyance of a cat to the training cliffs. Why was she doing this? Surely our of the goodness of her heart. Ha! No, Owlspots wanted to see what was up with this disrespectful brat. Her emotions and reactions snapped back and forth like lizard trapped between claws. It was not normal and the warrior couldn't yet figure out if they where even worth their place in the Clan. Stopping the molly turn around and gave Moonpaw a stern look. "Attack me." She ordered standing firmly in front of the apprentice. |
Re: ShadowClan Training Cliffs
As soon as the words left Owlspots mouthMoonpaw leaped. Her eyes were aiming for the mollys ears, but her body was aiming for her side. If this worked she could unsheath her claws just a little, so she can use Owlspots fur to swing onto her back. @Fuzzy
