“Well, that explains it.” she says, taking a bite of the mouse. “Anyways, how’re you, Shadowheart. Between getting mauled and trying to train my apprentice, I haven’t had much time to notice things around camp.” She says wryly

Moonshadow nods her head and flicks her tail, looking around the clearing, for once it seemed to be almost quiet, which confused her. Oh well, might as well take what you can get, right? She got up with a faint hiss of pain. “Well, I’m headed to the warrior’s den.” She said, grabbing her mouse.

Meadowbee felt like getting out of camp. But not with just anyone. Whe wanted an actual friendly cat to go with her...and from her keen observations and well..stalking of the pretty she-cat, Meadowbee had deduced that this particular cat was the companion she was looking for!

Meadowbee was crouched among the ferns on the other end of the clearing, staring her big blue eyes at Wildfire. She had tried making friends, but lots of cats didn't really like her too much in ShadowClan, the clan of meanies and bullies. She was neither, and Wildfire didn't seem to be either from what Meadowbee gathered.

Licking the pink pad of her paw, she swiped it over her head to try and tame the tufts of fur that stuck out on her thick pelt. Satisfied she at least looked presentable, Meadowbee exploded from the ferns and raced across the clearing, nearly colliding with Wildfire, but she didn't.

"Hi! I'm Meadowbee! Would you like to leave camp and explore because I would totally love that if you absolutely wanted to...." She said all of it in one breath, and yet she didn't look winded. This was normal for the chatterbox. No need for concern!

Poor Meadowbee.

Aha! Yes Meadowbee was thrilled that she couldn't contain the excited bounces after Wildfire. "Oh great!" She squealed, "This absolutely fantastic! I've actually never seen someone so excited to just explore let's go!" She bounced all the way to the camp entrance, unable to contain her squeals of delight.

"Oh don't worry I think I can handle whatcha got! You have no idea how great it is to make a friend who is totally on your level!" With that, she plunged into the camp entrance, poking her head back through to call to Wildfire, "Come on silly! I can show you all my camp shortcuts later!" She giggled and disappeared.

Or maybe...Meadowbee did know what she was getting into? She seemed to have plenty of her own energy, something that Wildfire sometimes thought was exclusive to her.

Wait! Other ShadowClan cats knew how to have fun? She wasn't alone anymore? That sounded almost too good to be true! But Wildfire didn't have any responsibilities at the moment, so she was going to roll with it.

She left camp with an excited bounce and headed toward Pinewatch Patch.
