Mintkit dug glow head on Leopardsong's chest, sobbing and crying. It can't be, it can't be! It has to be a joke, but, who would do a joke like that?
Mintkit felt like if a hawk stabbed glow in the heart with the sharp beak. Glow wounds were dull compared to that feeling on glow chest.

Lepoardsong attempted to nuzzle Mintkit while purring gently in hopes of consoling the sobbing kit. "You'll meet her again one day, until then I'll stay with you and take care of you. Promise, I'll be here for as long as you need me."

Aspenkit instantly became happy. "Really?!" He bounced a little. He hadn't had anyone to play with since his mother died. He was grateful for Leopardsong, and was determined to not upset her. He had already promised not to try to escape again, and now he just had to prove that he was telling the truth.
Aspenkit thought for a second. "Did you have kits of your own before?" He asked, trying to learn more about his adoptive mother. "If so, did they become warriors!?" His tail swished happily, already forgetting his own questions. "Will you tell me stories to?!" He gasped, "Can we play hide-and-seek?!"

Mosskit loved loved her mom and the kit beside her who she assumed was her sister. She loved the nest she was laying on, protected from the harsh winds outside the den.

Sweetblossom curled her tail around her 4 kits, Dustkit, Mosskit, Hummingbirdkit, and Cardinalkit. They were all so perfect!

Dustkit yawned and let out a small sneeze as her mother's fluffy tail brushed against her nose. Opening her eyes, she marveled at the light beams peering through the entrance to the nursery. She glanced around and saw Hummingbirdkit smiling at her. Dustkit smiled back and looked around at the other kits, Mosskit and Cardinalkit.

Sweetblossom stretched out her tail, her nest was quite large and the tip of her tail barely crossed over the nest. Her head rested on her paws, she wanted to go outside. She wanted to run and play! She couldn't wait until her kits could play... oh, that would be so fun! Maybe she could teach them to play mossball? They could leave the den... right?

' ' Do you guys wanna go outside? ' ' She said in a high-pitched voice, hoping they would pop up happily.
