Dogkit looked at Flyfur happily. "I had lots of fun! Foxpaw showed me the Elder's den and the Apprentice's den" He told her, full of excitement."Foxpaw told me that she's gonna show me the rest of the camp another time"He explained to the queen. He looked at Sugarapple. "Hello! I'm Dogkit!" He told her.

Dogkit watched Firehawk go and then turned his attention back to Sugarapple and Flyfur. As he waited for Sugarapple, he let his mind wander. He returned to the scene of his mother jumping in front of him to protect him from the badger. She had yowled at him to run away, as far away as he could and not come back but he had. A day later he had returned, only to find her corpse on the ground, motionless. Her fur had been soaked with blood but he had clung onto a thin thread of hope that she was still alive. He had nudged her shoulder, multiple time, yowling her name but her fur had been cold as ice, and knowing that, the little hope he had had vanished. He had curled up next to her and had tried to fall asleep but sleep never came. He had decided to go look for other cats and that's when he had been found by Firehawk. He returned to the present and sat patiently, waiting for Sugarapple. His heart grieved for his mother but he wouldn't let his grief get in the way of becoming an amazing warrior, which means he would rarly be able to let his mind wander.

Warmth heated up her fur in happiness that another queen is interacting with her. After the Cherrykit problem, there weren't many words spoken in the nursery den which lead to some loneliness. Zero regrets her previous decision but it fills her with joy to have a chat with queens and warriors whenever she's not busy handling kits. "Nice to meet you, Dogkit. It looks like you fit right in here!" the tortie purred, yellow eyes shimmered. "We'll take good care of ya, welcome to Riverclan." @Rainquail @Lynxpaw

Dogkit purred happily, putting the thoughts of his mother at the back of his mind. "Do you know any kits I could meet?" He asked. He knew Foxpaw wouldn't be available all the time since she was an apprentice, so he needed to find a kit to play with. He hoped that any kit he met would be interesting enough to keep his mind from wandering. When his mind wandered, it normally returned to all the bad memories he hated.

"That's very nice of Foxpaw." Flyfur purred. "I have two of my own, Meadowkit and Peachkit. I bet Meadowkit would love to meet you." She looked around for her both of her daughters. She noticed the loneliness that appeared in Sugarapple at the brief contact and promised silently to talk to her more often.

Peachkit looked up when she heard her mother say her name, she had been chewing some of the bones of her finished meal, trying to get every bit off she could. She was quick to ditch the scraps to tumble over to Flyfur's side. "Hi. Hi!" She greeted with chin held high.

Dogkit shifted his weight and looked at peachkit. He had never spoken to another kit before. Peachkit looked like she would be intresting enough to distract his mind. "Hi, I'm Dogkit" He introduced himself.

Dawnkit sniffed around the nursery, running around full of energy and mewing for some cat to play with
