The tom moved over towards cattail pond still feeling a bit weird that this was part of their territory. Bonecall sat down by the water right next to one of the cattails. This place was quite interesting. Something caught his eye causing him to look down. A little minnow swam by and he just sat therr in curiosity. Bonecall almost felt like a kitten. He had the urge to chase after it, but he just sat there. It wouldn't be appropriate for a grown warrior.

Fallenheart

Fallenheart caught sight of the moving minnow as she was wandering through the territory. She didn't even notice the warrior and splashed into the pond,grabbing the minnow and killing it.

' ' Oh! Hi- your here- ' ' She said, embarressed as she was soaked and the splash probably soaked them too.

He jumped back as one of his clanmates jumped into the water, getting him wet. He looked at them, tail lashing from side to side. He took a few quick deep breaths to calm himself down. Bonecall relaxed. It was just a clanmate. They probably didn't mean anything by it. "How could get wet in weather like this?", he asked with curiosity. His voice was calm. He didn't want to let this make him blow up. Not when he was working so well on keeping calm in these kinds of situations.

Violetfreckle found herself sitting by the pond, watching as fish swam lazily just beneath the surface of the water.

White paws skittered through the frosty forest, only vaguely sure of where she was leading her patrol. Although she wasn't terribly familiar with the area, the scent of water drew her closer towards their intended location. Breaking into the clearing, Mistheart gave a brief, cautious scan of the area before flicking her tail forward to call her patrolmates up.

"I'll uh... Circle around the left side. Leafpaw, could you look on the edges of the pond? And um--Dragonflycliff, could you go around the right?"

With a final dip of her head, the small grey warrior skittered off into the underbrush in search of their quarries.

Leafpaw had never been to Cattail Pond before, especially after they had stolen it from Riverclan. So this was her first time seeing it in person, and she wasn't sure how to feel about it. Though she could say for sure that she didn't like the idea of fishing, the stuff made her gag at the thought. Good thing they were here for herbs and not prey, land prey for her thank you very much! She raised her head as soon as mistheart started to give off orders, oh so she had to get close to the water. "Okay" hopefully she won't fall in, thankfully she was okay with walking like she was before. Off she went towards the pond as she began her search.

Well... it seemed no one was terribly talkative, so without another word the small grey warrior simply went to work.

Pink nose poked behind frosty foliage, sniffing the air occasionally and wrinkling her nose at the ever-present "cold-wet-smell" that permeated the area, before spotting some promisingly pointy-looking plants. A quick sniff of the frost-covered greenery sent the small molly recoiling backwards from the strong scent that blasted her olfactory senses. If that wasn't some sort of herb that Drizzlecloud could use, then she'd eat her tail... and if that was ragweed, she never wanted to catch whatever it treated. Euck.

Sucking in a deep breath of un-tainted air, Mistheart quickly nipped off three of the stalks (lips curling back as the bitter flavor invaded her mouth against her best efforts) before turning tail and rushing back to the center of the area to meet her patrolmates. She didn't want to carry these icky tasting plants any longer than she had to; even if she could probably carry more or look for some cobwebs, the pungent taste and smell of this "ragweed" felt like it was gonna turn her face inside-out.

So, shifting from paw-to-paw and itching to get going, Mistheart awaited her companions so she could lead them back home. (+3 ragweed)
