Timberpaw didn’t find himself relaxing all the time. Yet, when he did — it never was long. Currently, he finished tearing at a bird, it’s bones were left over. Usually, Timberpaw was fascinated by the bones of his prey. Whenever his mother scoffed down her meal, he’d ask if he could have her remains, only to be denied because she found it to be too dangerous for a kit to play with. Besides, as far as he was concerned, the bones of prey were to be buried out of respect. While he upheld the warrior code more than his own life, Timberpaw was quite headstrong — he’s follow the rules, and create his own in the process. He ended up laying splayed out on his paws, deciding to gnaw at the remains as if it were a chew toy and he was a dog. Admittedly, it wasn’t a bad taste, it was bird after all.

He only let up when his nose caught a whiff of a familiar scent. Amber eyes widened in complete horror, wishing he had time enough to hide somewhere. Timberpaw stayed still for a moment — maybe if he didn’t move than Flickerpaw wouldn’t notice him. Timberpaw was already more annoyed than he needed to be on a daily, and nonstop nagging from his ‘self-proclaimed’ friend, Timberpaw might end up going bonkers. If he comes over here, I swear I’ll claw his eyes out! Timberpaw withdrew a growl, hoping that his plan to stay rooted to his spot will cause the other tom to pass him up without notice.
