Uh, yes, was Tigerpaw's first response. But maybe that wasn't the best answer....right? "Uh, no." She lied instead. "That was a normal size of information. And, not to burst your bubble, but there is, like, zero percent chance you're winning that spar. Like, it's impossible. She's Dawnstar."

Stempaw tried to convince herself that Tigerpaw was right,” I’m not sure, I defeated one of the best warriors, Shrewstep. Shrewstep has defeated Dawnstar in a spar before, back when Dawnstar was a warrior.” she meowed hoping that was something or maybe nothing. Dawnstar had likely improved at sparring when she became leader, or Shrewstep had lost skill in that time, or maybe just let her win on purpose.

Tigerpaw nodded in approval. "Cool, cool. I guess you might have a chance." She paused. "What about me?" She asked thoughtfully. "Do you think I have a chance?" Tigerpaw thought she did.

Stempaw flicked her tail, in all honestly she wanted to say absolutely not, but she knew better than to say that,” I’m not sure. I’ve never seen you fight before so it’d be hard for me to say.” she meowed hoping that wouldn’t offend Tigerpaw.

Tigerpaw shook out her fur, lifting her chin. "I bet I'm the best fighter of all the apprentices," She boasted. "Because of two reasons. You want to know them?" All of a sudden, the topic changed from being about Stempaw to being about Tigerpaw.

Darkwatcher noticed Tigerpaw and Stempaw talking. Tigerpaw lifted her chin, talking animatedly, as if bragging about something. An observant sort of cat, Darkwatcher noticed Sootshadow watching them. "What do you think they're talking about?" He asked, making his way towards Sootshadow.
