Re: Sleepy Thicket
Featherfangs eyes were narrow and once she landed on her paws and her apprentice was behind her trying to aim for her belly she sprang her hind legs out hard. She was not holding back one bit, ”I’ll show you what happens to cocky apprentices who think they know everything!” She hissed. @~dust~ |
Re: Sleepy Thicket
~[Creekflow]~ It had made a nice day and what better way to spend it than to take a peaceful stroll in the Sleepy Thicket. As soon as he was done with his warrior duties, the mottled tom immediately headed out to the thicket. Creekflow very much enjoys the breeze swaying his fur and all the foliage in a calming dance. It soothed his nerves and refreshed him. One thing that intrigued him about that particular location was the legend. He had heard about it when he was a young kit and always wondered if the legend actually stemmed from truth or if it was all a bunch of nonsense. He was a bit of a skeptic and until he sees the spirit for himself, he'll remain that way.Quote:
---------------------------- Creekflow was knocked out of his thoughts, quite literally, by a solid black blur. "Wo-ah!" he shouted as he tumbled down, eyes wide in surprise. He shook himself out of his daze and sat up slowly. Wowwee! What a tackle! The first few seconds he believed it to have been an attack but quickly relaxed when the familiar scent of his clan was made evident. He took a good look at the she-cat. Was this... Silverpool? That was her name right? He offered her a warm grin before speaking, "S'all right... Silverpool right? You got quite the tackle power. Impressive. If you don't mind me asking, what were ya up to before colliding with me? I was strolling around. It's been a mighty fine day. It only made sense to do so. Well, at least it does to me." Creekflow got up and proceeded to assist Silverpool up onto her paws as well. "You alright? You seem a bit dizzy. You aren't hurt anywhere are ya?" asked the young warrior. He began to worriedly look her over for any injuries while he waited for a reply. |

Cocky? Are you serious I guess you really need to be shown just how cocky I can be. She gets up and unsheathed her claws padding towards featherfang her voice with a growl in it she then sprang at her and scratches her face if it hits featherfang if not... she gets pinned to the ground |
Re: Sleepy Thicket
Featherfang backed up a little when she stepped forward growling, she was about to fight back when lotuspaw lunged out at her. She didn’t move and let the apprentice pin her. As soon as she was pinned a small...noticeable smile went on her face, before her front paws wrapped around lotuspaws neck and she sank her teeth slightly in the young cats throat. It wasn’t enough to kill her...but she could taste the blood, her claws dug slightly into her scruff. After a few heartbeats featherfang released her grip and once again kicked out with her back legs pretty hard against lotuspaws belly to throw her off. @~dust~ |

@Middy
Silverpool smiled apologetically. "Unfortunately, I don't usually get the chance to wind up that much before tackling an enemy," she laughed, embarassed. "Oh, I was just...running." Great. Now she was the weird River Clan she-cat who like to run through trees and into toms. "Yeah, I'm Silverpool. You're Creekflow, right? It is a nice day for a walk." Or to get bowled over apparently, she thought to herself. [it's cool!] |
Re: Sleepy Thicket
The tom purred in amusement. "Mmm well, ya managed to catch me off guard and I gotta say, it was quite the thrill to get tackled like that so no sweat." He was now standing with a relaxed posture. She seemed to be alright so his worry vanished and was now replaced with a more playful demeanor.
"Yep. Creekflow's right. It's also a good day to run too. It feels good when the wind's blowing. Kinda feels like your gliding. I've done it a few times myself but recently decided on trying out strolling." The young warrior offered her a grin when an idea popped into his head. "Would you like to join me on my walk? I could use some company to talk to. I understand if not though." he asked with a light tone. He was hoping for her to accept the offer but he didn't get his hopes up. |

@Middy
Silverpool nodded, relieved he wasn't upset. "Sure! I've probably had enough running for one day." She fell into step beside him. "I like running mostly because I'm decent at it," she laughed. "I'm not great at hunting or fighting, so I figured I'll just stick with what I know." She watched a leaf fall from a tree, remembering it would soon be leaf-bare. |
Re: Sleepy Thicket
Creekflow grinned when she accepted his offer. She seemed to be a pretty fun cat to hang out with and was looking forward to get to know her. Hopefully he wouldn't make a fool of himself or accidentally say anything that might offend her. He was known for his mediocre conversation skills. He really needed to work on that. Maybe he'd get more friendships that way.
"That makes sense. You gotta do what you're good at. Although, you could also practice those other skills to get better at them. It'll do ya real good to be well versed with other things." he responded, a lazy smile gracing his maw. Another idea suddenly pushed to the spotlight. "Hey, would you like to practice those skills with me in the future? I wouldn't mind helping ya out. I'm not super great at 'em but I can probably help you a decent bit. I won't force you of course! Only if you're up for it." he said as he observed her from his peripheral vision. As he awaited her response, he eyed the falling leaves with a bit of wariness yet wonder. Leaf-fall was here and leaf-bare wasn't too far ahead. He wasn't quite used to trying to enjoy this type of weather but he already promised himself he'd give it a fair try. |
