Cody easily redirected her with a swish of his paw. To show off, he didn't look up from the grooming or acknowledge the attack.

Cody heard a thud, and his eyes widened. He wiped his head around, and saw Mazy on the floor. "Mazy!" He cried, shuffling over. The small tom's breathing was heavy as he looked at her. "MOM!" Cody called, turning around. Tears filled his eyes as he stared at what he'd done. How could he... he was just like his brothers...
