The she-kit looked at the brown tom, Buck-something, scared. He wants to hurt me! But of course, that went right over her head. She looked up at him indignantly before switching to her regular happy-go-lucky self, hopping from paw to paw. "Nah! Don't be scared, Shimmer! This is just a huge part of our adventure!" She grinned up at both wild cats. "Pleeeaase? And thank you so much Tiger!" Pippa turned to the lilac-furred cat who had been defending them. "Because I do wanna learn how to fight and hunt and stuff! This is so exciting!" Her long tail waved.

"Where's her den? Please, please, please? I'll let Dawn-cat know that you guys found us and showed us to camp!" Pippa promised, hoping that that would work. "I'll - I'll tell her how you did a good job in forcing us here, even though we really wanted to go!" She just really wanted this, so badly!

How adorable -- a warrior fiddling with his bedding, unable to change it. How old was this cat? Had it been so long since his apprenticeship he forgot how to change moss? Sparkpaw's whiskers flicked with amusement.

"Then allow me to introduce myself. I'm Sparkpaw; that's one problem solved already." Her tone was light and airy with an acidic aftertaste. Embershadow -- yes, she knew his name! Sparkpaw was a notorious cat-watcher -- seemed like one of those warriors who needed their ego fluffed up to feel important. Her competence must threaten him, poor boy.

"You can guarantee it? Hmm, all right, I'll believe you, big strong warrior that you are.."

Looking over his shoulder, Spark cocked a single cat brow. "Have you heard of delegation? If you don't want to change your own moss--too busy being the best at problem-solving no doubt--you could always ask someone else."

Silkshadow trotted into camp, looking around before settling down in a quiet corner. The clearing was, as always, busy with all sorts of conversations here and there. She looked around for somebody to talk to, feeling the boredom creeping in.

Embershadow growled under his breath. He was trying to not to completely lose it, but this annoying she-cat was making it very difficult. And why was she acting so pompous? Did she realize who she was talking to? He resisted the urge to lash out and replied with gritted teeth, "So lovely to meet you, Sparkpaw." He decided it wasn't worth telling her his name. She would probably forget it in the next few heartbeats, anyway.

"Are you mocking me?" he asked through narrowed eyes. "I could easily put in a nice word with Dawnstar and get you on den-clearing duty for half a moon. I'm a warrior. I deserve some respect." It was just his luck that someone like this would come along. No one else was ever badgered by irritating young cats. "And I wouldn't have to do it if the apprentices ever got around to cleaning the dens out." Honestly, it wasn't really their fault. All they did was battle train these days. With the imminent attack on WindClan, no one had any time for collecting moss. He half-hoped that, one day, that would come back to bite Dawnstar in the rear-end. "All you do is train." He snorted.

Her muscles quivered underneath her long brown pelt as her huge paws carried her nimbly down the path and into the heart of her camp. She had not bothered to look over her broad shoulder once to see if chimera was keeping up. Her ears could hear the she-cats paw steps and she could sense the feline's presence behind her. There is a stoic seriousness to her gaze, that combined with a confident unhurried grace, the yowled leader.

Her nose twitched once, twice, thrice, and then with slit pupils, shining from those golden eyes disgust and venomous rage engulf her mind. Dawnstar prided herself on her senses, they were honed to peak conditions in order to keep her alive. She smelt kittypet... a grotesque odor that made her want to hack out a lung. Her lips drew back to expose her off-white fangs, face scrunching up making the large scar scratched across it smaller. Dawnstar had to be smelling wrong, correct, there is no way that anyone who liked breathing fresh air every day would bring a kittypet into her camp! It was ludicrous!

With a new predatory glint in her gaze, she slowly swung her large head around scanning until she found the one that didn't belong. Having to fail to hear either apprentice call having been located outside of camp, Dawnstar stalked over to the two with her claws skimming across the rocky surface. "As soon as I'm done with this, you two had better have a very good explanation as to why you brought a hairball of a kittypet into my camp." Though her tone was void of anger the icy indifference didn't match her furious expression. It reeked, and made Dawnstar want to get rid of the pest immediately, but first, she had bigger fish to deal with.

Walking around and past the younger cats, Dawnstar opened her mouth wide and let out a loud and authoritative screech commanding all attention. She didn't bother with calling an official clan meeting for something like this. Traitorous deserters didn't deserve such a privilege.

"Cats of ShadowClan, I need your opinion on this matter. Duskfern has come crawling back to ShadowClan after deserting us, expecting a welcome back yet refuses to tell me the reason she left. She seems to believe that she's entitled to keep that reason to herself, that we should just accept that she left and came back and that it. She says she is loyal to ShadowClan, but she had to leave yet still won't explain what was so important that she abandoned her clan. So I'm going to let you decide on her fate. Tell me, should I let her back into ShadowClan?"

[You can ignore this but would be nice to hear what cats have to say. Since she's legit asking for an opinion there are no consequences for those who don't agree with her.]

Snowberry, sitting by the edge of the clearing, lifted her head from her vole, calling, "Let her stay if she wants - she hasn't done anything wrong!" Honestly, she didn't care to know who Duskfern was, but if it meant another warrior, there was nothing wrong regarding the notion - right?

The newly appointed warrior hissed lowly as the call rang through the clearing. Sniveling traitors were sniveling traitors, and that was that! As far as he was concerned, Duskfern was pretty much forfeiting her right to rejoining the second she tried to lie to the cat who was in charge of letting her back in. Loyal? Ha! There was no way she was loyal if she tried worming herself back in like that, "Let her stay an outsider, if she cant explain truthfully then she has no place here. How do we know if she truly is loyal?" he scoffed, gazing at the leader as he stepped forwards.

Adderflower sneered at Duskfern.

“If she chose to leave then she has no right coming crawling back! Shadowclan doesn’t need weak cats who can’t hold their own in the outside,” she snarled.

Sootshadow poked his head outside the warriors den. He had heard Dawnstars yowl. After listening to his clan mates he padded out and sat down, twisting his tail around his feet.

“Personally I don’t mind, we can always use the extra warriors” he suggested.

Finchpaw sat silent, he didn’t dare voice his opinion. He figured that Dawnstar didn’t want to hear it anyways.
