Re: ShadowClan Clearing
Ravenpaw didn't know Duskfern, or anything about her, really. So how could she make much of an opinion for a cat she didn't know? I can only form an opinion based on what I know. She left Shadowclan, already a bad sign, and won't tell why she left or why she came back. Suspicious. What if she's a spy? But if it's simply something embarrassing that she doesn't want to say, that would be mean.
"Make her explain why she left and came back! Maybe she's a spy for the other clans, or maybe she just got snapped up by a twoleg and she thinks it's embarrassing!" Huh. Speaking her mind actually felt pretty nice, even if it was terrifying to speak in front of a crowd. @Undertaker |

Brackenpaw lifted her muzzle. Curling her lip, she decided to speak up. She left the Clan! She doesn't deserve the grace! If she refuses to tell why she was gone, it show she isn't loyal! Maybe a demotion will teach her respect! |
Re: ShadowClan Clearing
Shadowmoon gazed at her Clanmates, then at Duskfern, then Dawnstar. It seemed most cats wanted the deserter gone, dead or alive. "I'm sure we would all love to hear Duskfern's reasoning. But her lack of trust in her former Clanmates speaks more volumes than her silence. Her reasoning must be selfish and cowardly, and as such, she should leave. If she cannot trust us, then we cannot trust her." with that, the small grey and cream colored she-cat flicked her tail dismissively. "But to make her suffer? Clearly she isn't suffering from her decision to leave the Clan...but she can suffer the consequences of her own mistakes as a rogue. The greatest pain and shame a prideful former ShadowClan warrior can be inflicted, is to be denied a place among the Clan again."

Re: ShadowClan Clearing
Rosepetal ___________ @Undertaker A soft smile escaped Rosepetal as she looked at Duskfern. "Maybe she can be truthful, I once was a rogue in my time. Dawnstar gave me a second chance to prove myself when I left, I say let's see what she has to say first, then decide." |
Re: ShadowClan Clearing
~Smokemoon~ Smokemoon padded out of the warriors den at Dawnstar’s screech and he listened to what she said. Hmm, he felt that she should stay. But he felt it was a trap. A trap to make them tell the truth and confront the traitors later. But what if it wasn’t a trap? Confused, Smokemoon listened to the others and he thought Finchwhisker had a good idea. “I agree with the deputy. She should be tested for her loyalty and given a punishment. Maybe have her start as an apprentice and have to feed the elders and take care of all the cleaning in camp. If she leaves again, then next time she won’t be welcomed.” He meowed loudly.~Whitepaw~ Whitepaw padded out of the apprentices den and sat down, listening to what Dawnstar said and then hearing what others said afterward. She didn’t really know what she wanted for the she-cat. On one paw, she felt bad for her. On the other paw, she was angry at her for not explaining why she left. What was the problem with that. “I say let her stay but break something of hers for the price. Maybe take one of her eyes out, break a paw or leg.” She meowed. A bit mean but the only way to learn.~Dapplecloud~ Dapplecloud padded out of the nursery and listened to what Dawnstar said. Instantly she was boiling in rage. This she-cat had left the clan and come back, expecting to be welcome? Without even explaining why she left? “Get her out of here! I like Grimhound’s idea! Make her speak her reasoning and even if she doesn’t after a paw, feed her to the rogues at the border or any other animal.” She yowled. She honestly didn’t care for this Duskfern but just wanted to please Dawnstar. |

[ honeyfrost ]
The queen’s pelt spiked up as soon as the screech rang through the air. If she hadn’t been used to… well, used was a strong way of phrasing it. If she hadn’t been familiar with Dawnstar’s niche methods of gathering the attention of her clan, Honeyfrost would have assumed a cat had been struck down to make that wail. There was rarely a time the she-cat wasn’t on edge around her leader, this being no exception. For a cat who had just meandered out to relax away from her kits, she did an immediate 180 at the noise and stood up hastily to beeline for the nursery. Her mouth remained shut as she shuffled through her clanmates, despite her strong, strong distaste for the brutality surrounding her she wished she could yowl back at all of them to have some StarClan damned empathy for once. But she couldn’t, the rowdier the other cats got the more unsettled Honeyfrost became, needing to get right back to her nest as soon as possible before her kits heard a word of this. Oh no, nononono, knowing the litter they would have already been listening at the entrance- none of this was allowed past any of their tiny, impressionable ears. She would not stand for her kits being in danger or sympathizing with it. |
Re: ShadowClan Clearing
Dusksong padded into the clearing and swept pebblekit back into the nursery. She narrowed her eyes at the kittypet, she did not care of such things, but was not heartless either her ears perked up when she heard about Duskfern,Dusksong was almost as old as an elder, but she padded closer anyway and had an idea,"We dont know for sure if he's loyal"she began cautiously not wanting to ruffle any of her clanmattes fur,"We should not trust him,and kick him out,but we need every warrior even as powerful as we already are,I suggest a trail, for three moons....as an apprentice"she sniffed, and sat down waiting for an answer.

Re: ShadowClan Clearing
Embershadow Embershadow frowned from where he sat at the fresh-kill pile, a half-eaten sparrow lying between his forelegs. He thought Duskfern's Clanmates deserved to know where she had been and why she had left. If she didn't trust them to know, then she should leave. "How come we can't know where she's been?" he called. [B]"Where has she been that we can't know? She ought to trust us that much, at least."Frostpaw Frostpaw hurried from the dirtplace. He quickly glanced around, spotting Dawnstar and an unfamiliar she-cat standing in the center of the clearing. Who was she? He listened, fidgeting in the dirt, while Dawnstar spoke. Where had she been? Why would she abandon ShadowClan? The young tom bounced in the air. "Drive her out, drive her out!" he squealed excitedly. "Traitor!" |
