"I'm pleased to hear it," The silvery feline purred, pleased to know her presence had entertained Ammilkit - he was sweet, and very curious; the ideal qualities for an apprentice, and Owlflame found herself hoping that when the time came it would be her to mentor him. It was likely, given she'd lacked any apprentice for a while now and there weren't many warriors to go around at the moment. She was confident in the idea that she would be the lucky warrior to mentor the young kit, and a small smile fluttered onto her maw. "So, Ammilkit, are you looking forward to being an apprentice?" She cast her daffodil gaze backwards, gazing at the small tom-kit with her peripheral vision. The mixture of whites, silvers and greys of her pelt rustled in the breeze as the clouds above appeared darker than before. Rain, perhaps? Owlflame hoped it would rain, but she worried for Ammilkit in such dreary weather. She supposed they could just take cover beneath the trees surrounding Skyclan's camp, but the cold was still not good for a kit. The brawny warrior knew the trouble she would get into if the snow-white tom-kit became ill. For now it was no problem, but her marigold gaze remained vigilant of the sky above them.

Ammilkit's blue eyes lit up at the mention of becoming an apprentice. "Of course!" he exclaimed. "I can't wait to learn how to fight and walk silently and jump super high and all that cool stuff!" He smiled proudly, imagining himself slinking through the forest silently and darting up trees to catch birds and squirrels. "Do you have an apprentice, Owlflame?" he asked. He felt a small raindrop land on his head, but he ignored it. He glanced up at the sky to see a large, dark cloud above them. It seemed like it was going to start raining very soon. Ammilkit didn't mention the oncoming rain--he loved rain, even if it might make him sick. He shook his white coat out and readjusted his grip on Owlflame's back.

Your pick.” He said wondering if the deputy felt guilty. He read her face, Mabye she does.. He wondered waiting for Arouraflames response

"Hmm, it's a good idea but I don't really want to bother anyone else," she said thoughtfully. And it'd be embarrassing if a group of cats were to see how indecisive I can be, she added silently. If she were being honest, Oaksplash's first response hadn't made her feel any better.
However, his second response was better. "I think I'll just eat it and make up for it in hunting," she finally decided, after a few moments of hesitation. It was the original plan and the deputy felt her pelt heat up as she realised how she had just wasted so much time for no reason. She bet that Oaksplash was judging. Whoops.

Before she could change her mind again, the deputy quickly pushed the rabbit towards Oaksplash. "You should eat first, you caught it after all," she said, giving the tom a small smile.

“Are you sure? You havn’t eaten anything all day.” He said pushing a bit to her. “Ive already eaten. Plus you deserve it. You do a lot of work each day, but if you feel bad then let’s hunt.” He meowed to his deputy. He looked up to her and knew that she felt bad. He read her face a bit. “Do you think I’m judging you?” He asked “I’m not honestly. Everyone is a bit hesitant sometimes. He meowed looking at her.

He nodded, smiling shyly at his new mentor. "Y-Yeah."

Fennelheart pitied him poor Aspenpaw. Shyness can suck. she tried to show more optimism and confidence,” Would you like to see the territory?” She suggest. I don’t want him deciding to go play in the territory with his littermates after training and accidentally cross a border.

The large silvery she-cat let out a small chuckle at Ammilkit's burst of excitement, pleased to know he was excited to become an apprentice. She remembered how fond she was of her own mentor; she'd idolized the tom for as long as she could remember, and having him as her mentor gave her the headstart she needed. "An apprentice? No, not yet," She explained, the words tinted with hope as she continued thinking about having the pale tom-kit as her own apprentice. He was a promising young kit, with the potential to become an incredible warrior someday. The large she-cat watched as a few spots of rain fell to the otherwise dry ground, the thick scent of petrichor lacing the humid air. She would have been worried for Ammilkit, had the air around them not been so stingy and hot; a thunderstorm was on its way, it would seem. Owlflame loved watching the graceful strikes of lightning dancing across the gloomy sky, the beat of thunder in the distant background. She found such a natural occurrence so intriguing, and whilst other's found it quite intimidating Owlflame couldn't help but look on with a sense of calmness and tranquility. "Are you alright up there? Just tell me when you want to get down, okay?" The silvery feline inquired an unfamiliar maternal tone to her usually much more sarcastic voice.

He blinked. "Okay!"

Fennelheart nodded,” Ready to go to the territory.” She replied checking that he’s okay.

Hawkclaw would pad out of the warrior's den. His paws carried him over to the fresh kill pile were he picked up a mouse before he walked back over to the warrior's den. He'd sit right outside of the den. He took a bite out of his mouse. His mouth flooded with the taste of the prey which brought a smile to his face. As he finished up he licked his paw and drew it over his head before sitting right back down to see if Flowerpool was around. The gray and white toms fur moved lightly in the slight breeze he could feel.

She stumbled out of the warriors den, her blue eyes were blinking for she had just woken up, her gray fur was matted and her white muzzle opened up in a large yawn she looked over at Hawkclaw and smiled clearly still drowsy
