Hawkclaw would look over at Flowerpool. He watched her walk out of the warrior's den tired looking. He had already finished his mouse so he ran to her side. "Morning!"He mewed. "Get good sleep?"He giggled slightly meaning for it to be a joke as he looked at her with his light green eyes. |

He'd giggled slightly again before watching her pad over to the fresh-kill pile. Hawkclaw sat down beside her resting his tail over her shoulder. "Hm not much..I ate a mouse. That counts.."He mewed before adding "I wonder if we'll go on a patrol at some point" He said quickly. |

"Maybe" She looked up at him and took another part of her mouse, her blue eyes starting to clear up a bit and adjusting to the sunlight |

He'd shrug before licking his paw and drawing it over his head again. "I hope so..Not much going on right now"He mewed sighing. Hawkclaw blinked a few times still squinting at the sun. "Bright light! Bright light!"He complained [Get the reference?] |

((Sorry for the slow replies! School has been absolutely insane. Also, I never realized until now how hard writing a kit is. I have mad respect for anyone who can write an immature, unobservant kit without making them seem like a tiny adult.)) Ammilkit was getting tired of the ride, so he slid off of Owlflame's back and onto the ground. It was a bit of a long fall, but he landed easily. His fur fluffed up, making him seem like a tiny puffball of white fur. "I'm good!" he assured her. He bounced around to her front and said, "I can be your apprentice!" This little scrap-of-fur of a kit didn't seem like he would be much of an apprentice. He was still small and thin for his age--hopefully he'd get a growth spurt soon--and his bravery and aggression wasn't really there. He was only a moon and a half away from becoming an apprentice, yet most cats thought that he was barely three moons old. Despite this, Ammilkit was excited to become an apprentice. He had the drive to work hard, and the optimism that he would become bigger and stronger. He was going to have walls to get past, sure, but he knew that he couldn't just break them down like other cats might. He had been worrying about all of this as his apprentice ceremony crept closer and closer. He knew it was still far away, but he felt as if he would never be ready. He said that he was excited to become an apprentice, but deep down he wasn't sure if he was ever meant to become a warrior. Sure, he was still young. He knew that. He still had a ton of growing to do. He couldn't exactly understand how he was feeling, but he just knew that he was nervous to become an apprentice. He looked down, a worried expression flashing over his face as he thought all of this. |

The ginger-and-white tom smirked, knowing full well that he was starting to get to the larger apprentice. Though if anyone from the outside was looking, they could see that most of Timberpaw’s words went in one of Flickerpaw’s ears, and right out the ther. There wasn’t much processing that was going on, he was just enjoying the fun he was having. And spotting out pretty much any surface levels thought. “You may not be upset, but my momma sure will. And I don’t want to make momma mad. Would you want me to make momma mad?” Flickerpaw actually didn’t really care if he made his mother angry. She got in his back about things even if he wasn’t doing anything wrong, so he found no motivation to care about her opinions much anymore. Plus, he was almost a warrior now, and Speckledspring had plenty of other things to deal with than him. “Ooo man solid burn dude. You got me with that one!” Flickerpaw’s response should’ve been no surprise. It was typical of the bouncy tomcat to not take pretty much anything personally. He was hard to get rid of yes, but even harder to irritate. Probably because he was so irritating himself. As Timberpaw asked for a batter description, he simply shook his head. “Nah, we don’t want you getting a big head, and believe me.” Flickerpaw leaned a little closer to Timberpaw, a laugh coming out of his maw. “your fur is already poofy enough. We don’t need that static added to it.” The tomcat joked, flicking his tail. As Timberpaw’s last question was asked, Flickerpaw burst out laughing. “You really think I don’t have anything better to do? Of course I do, but you must not know me very well. Because I usually don’t do it.” |
