Re: ShadowClan Clearing
Rookpaw was just...bored. She was used to this now. Don't get into anyone's business. Be free. No tethers. Someone dying? Look the other way or just look and laugh. It's not your problem. She did in fact see Venompaw rush at the she-cat. She lifted a paw to stifle a chuckle. Venompaw was so selfish and rather weak-minded. Rookpaw was bloodthirsty herself, but she knew how to use that. At this point, she was just lightly chuckling, sitting like a loaf.

Buckpaw rolled his eyes at Tigerpaw and turned to Dawnstar, straightening up. “What she means to say is that these two kits tresspassed into our territory, looking to join for some reason. I decided to let you decide their fate.” He took a glance at the kits and drew a paw over his ear, trying to look at least semi-professional. |
Re: ShadowClan Clearing
Redshrike was going to step in and contribute to the chaos and bloodshed himself but as a verifiable hoard of cats rushed forward to take the kill his ears pinned in distaste as the havoc. This was not how a well organised group attack went and he would have no part of it, bloodshed was fun no matter what even if given time and privect he could turn it into a brutal masterpiece and a full belly but this wasnt that. Hmm. He'd stepped out to have a chance to share in the cat turned prey so just letting this go was annoying to him, he'd have to find another way to potentially get what he wanted.
With a grin and a purr he responded rather boldly to Grimhound with no hesitation, "I sincerely doubt it if she ever showed the skill to escape everyone from within the camp she'd have been found useful enough to keep before things even got to this point. No poor poor little Duskfern dies like prey here. Though I will happily volunteer to carry her mangled carcas to the border to leave it to the scavengers, maybe I can even bait her sister out with it. Petal was it? Maybe she'll even have more potential than her sister but I doubt that too. Mmm yes when this sad display ends I fully volunteer to deal with whats left of her." Even as the warrior just sat with a calm smooth grin and watched the carnage his muscles flexed and claws dug into the ground at the idea, the whole thing was a ploy to pick up a free meal but it was a good idea he'd attempt too. Though Duskfern would need to die first, that needed to occur as fast as possible. "Brackenpaw if you cant land a hit on her let her give you the blow herself! In a large battle it may be more worth it to move to and predict where she will be then where she is surrounded by many cats trying the same thing. The scum will tire itself out and give you the opening you need, all prey gets tired when chased enough. And quit the chattering, it's for birds and fools and has no place in battle where your actions will speak louder." The tom didnt like Brackenpaw (he didnt like almost anyone Marigoldpaw was gone and Dawnstar was the only cat he felt a connection to in this bloodbath of a clan) but he'd be rather pleased with the apprentice if she landed a blow even if it wasnt the killing one. He didnt expect the killing blow out of her anyway, if she some how managed it he'd have to find some way to reward her. Good behaviour deserved rewards, that'd encourage her to do it again afterall. @spade @-Skyfall- |

Re: ShadowClan Clearing
@Undertaker Duskfern’s ears flattened down against her fur, and her back stretched up in an arch. That had crossed the line. ”Yes, that’s the fuss I present you with, your majesty.” The chimera she-cat hissed, staring directly at the large striped molly. “Is it not enough to suffice your need for drama?” She could sense that more cats had gathered around at the word Dawnstar had laid out: kill. Many ShadowClan cats supported their leader, and would be quick to ruthlessly murder any traitors. That’s what she had been seen as, in that moment. Duskfern was aware that several clanmates, or former clanmates, would attack her while she was leaving camp. Some, if they should be impatient, would even do it while she was here. Besides, why would Dawnstar be letting everyone else attack her? Couldn’t she kill Duskfern herself? It surely wasn’t because she was too weak, as the ShadowClan leader knew she was strong enough. The chimera she-cat put it aside and assumed that she wanted to make sure Duskfern wouldn’t survive by outnumbering her. “That loner is my sister. Maybe I should have stayed a rogue. It’s clear now that ShadowClan is not the place for me.” Duskfern spat, eyes narrowed. “Forget it. I shouldn’t have to apologize to you. I’ll catch my own prey.” While traipsing through the crowd, she snagged a few malicious glares on her pelt. It seems she had become the very thing she was looking for. (To people attempting to kill Duskfern: please attack her while she’s out of camp. Also, since she’s my main, I don’t want her killed. Though, you may injure her, just not severely. In the end, adding up everyone attacking her, she’ll already be wounded badly. I will post a starter in different territory and mention everyone who wants to attack her.) |
Re: ShadowClan Clearing
Nightfur ⁀➷。 @Minty || Nightfur and Spiderpaw will participate in the out-of-camp attack! || Nightfur listened on, her mention to kill the she-cat if the Clan wanted made him uncomfortable, but he made it a point to acknowledge he needed to learn to be more like the Clan he was in; brutal. Their ruthlessness kept him alive, and his past made him equally as upset as Dawnstar's behavior, but he understood her, in a way. At least, he hoped. He looked at Duskfern and curled his lip as she went past his Clanmates, his claws scraping the ground from under him. He felt sort of forced to join the cats that clearly wanted to kill the She, but he wanted to fit in. No more soft Nightfur. That only got him into more trouble. He was in ShadowClan, not ThunderClan. Spiderpaw ☾ Dawnstar let her Clanmates kill, too? He looked at the Leader with pride, then turned to the molly, his gaze growing cold and ready to sink his claws into the cat. He wished Duskfern was his father; he'd have so much for fun ripping fur from that pelt of hers, but he felt a pang of irritation at the fact that she wasn't. |
Re: ShadowClan Clearing
@TheNyanCatMinecart @FrostCat @Silverfur & Co. Dawnstar lost all interest in Duskfern as soon as she let the clan at her. Tigerpaw stated something obvious and stupid, which didn't really answer her question at all. She wasn't exactly expecting the tiny kittypet to start meowing up a storm. If she wasn't as amused as she was, Dawnstar might have snapped at kit for speaking. Pippa, what a ridiculous name. Who the hell was Shimmer? Dawnstar's mood soured at the thought of dealing with two kittypets. The kittypet kept chatting and chatting and not shutting up. The fact that she continued to call the clan a group was somewhat insulting. She seemed eager and willing, but this kittypest didn't know what she was asking for. Kittypets were dumb and lazy, this kittypest, regardless of the enthusiasm was no different. The quivering legs drew her eye, but the lack of fear scent made Dawnstar assumed that this was either excitement or nervousness. Whatever the reason, it didn't make Dawnstar want to take in an extra softpaw. Dawnstar gave a low warning snarl that bellowed deep from the back of her throat at Tigerpaw's choice of words. What was with cats these days thinking they could tell her what to do. She didn't have to do anything! Her intense glare was torn away when Buckpaw spoke up. Buckpaw won some points with the leader purely for not telling what she should do and being more straightforward. "Tigerpaw, mind your tongue. You," she spat looking at the kit, "I'm not sure what to do with yet. I don't like trespassers and I hate kittypets even more, your enthusiasm is admirable, but I'm not interested in babying a kittypest such as yourself. Though you're young you've lived a life far too easy for ShadowClan, there are three softer clans I'm sure would take in a kittypet. Why don't you go pester one of them?" Yes, Dawnstar could use more loyal warriors, but she was picking those out as she found them. She was desperate enough to take in the first kittypet that promised loyalty. The excited eyes full of life, those were the eyes of a cat who's never had to pray to the star for their next meal, never had to run, fight, or hide, from a night full of predators. Never had to take the life of another cat just to save their own. Dawnstar might have been judging the cat a bit too severe, but she's heard and seen of loners and rogues just as young as the chatterbox who have lived far harsher lives. Though they were despicable, she'd take an outsider who's learned how to survive the harsh wilderness over a weak kittypet any day. "I don't think you have what it takes to live in ShadowClan, kittypest, I'm not wasting one of my warriors on mousefodder." |
