(WOOP! The plot starts as soon as I have Sibling 1 :") then after that ill need sibling 2. As soon as those two are over with, the whole thing can run smoothly!
Also only replying to this one! Sleep is in my future. Ill reply to the med cat den by the 'morrow. :D )

Morningblue followed her gaze and stared up at the full moon. It was large and white, and it's steady glow illuminated the sky and seastones down below alike. "So what do you think of the new deputy?" he asked the shecat, taking her cue to divulge a little in the regular clan gossip.

The white apprentice shook her head vigorously. "Oh, great StarClan no! Every cat is usually sharing tongues, laughing and having fun... even making friends, too.
Clearly that isn't the case tonight, for whatever reason."
Sighing, she flicked one ear. "Sorry you have to experience this Gathering as your first. An apprentice's first Gathering should be special."

Ever since her last apprentice was murdered she's become really protective! She may as well assign bodyguards to me!`` The young feline shook out her pelt, huffing defiantly. ``I know Geckoleaf cares, but I can take care of myself!`` She narrowed her eyes in determination, lashing her tail to further express her frustration. And then, just like that, her irritation was gone in a flash and was replaced with a kit-like innocence. ``Anyhoo - did I get your name? Did I tell you mine? I'm Juniperpaw. Oh! Have you met Daypaw? They're ShadowClan's medicine cat, and they may as well be my second mentor!`` She smiled brightly as she spoke of the other medicine cat, but then she was once again distracted by the older tomcat's presence. ``How old are you? Where did all those scars come from? You're SkyClan, right? Did I tell you I'm RiverClan's medicine cat apprentice? Oh, I'm just so excited! This is my first Gathering! It'll be amazing, I bet! Hey, are we friends?``

"Keep you pelt on, Junebug," Shinefang replied in response to the little apprentices bombardment of questions. His whiskers twitched at her recount of her mischievous escape from her mentor. He could hardly blame her for wanting a little space, and he knew better than any cat that is an apprentice wants to wander off, there's no stopping them. He had been a fairly young apprentice himself the day he slipped out of camp in the dead of leafbare. That was the errand that had cost him his eye. "The name is Shinefang. And no, I haven't met Daypaw, but I've seen her at gatherings. What are you calling her "they" for. Is there more than one of her?" he asked with a slight chortle.

(He's not going to have had occasion to speak to Daypaw, and therefore wouldn't know their gender. Fell free to correct him.)

The apprentice didn't want this moment to end in fact he wanted it to last forever.

Nightpaw sagged a little. Yet again, warrior training was turning out differently than she expected. But not a moment of regret passed before she turned back to Snowpaw, "Well, at least I got to meet you! What's your favorite part of warrior training? Hunting or fighting?"

Everything looked the same, despite her new position, but for the first time in all of her trips to the gathering, Halfgaze simply couldn't keep her gaze away from the leaders' rock. One day, she would be up there, and the thought sent chills down her spine. Halfgaze was certain she wasn't ready to be a leader, or even to address the four clans from the meeting rock. But, she was still a new deputy and she would learn and by the time it was her turn to speak from atop that looming rock, she'd be ready. The thought of Goldenstar dying, however, made the tortoiseshell so sick that she had to imagine him retiring instead. For now, she let her daydreams go and focused on the milling cats about her, happy with the way things were at the moment instead of wishing for time to move faster as some deputies might. Scenting the air, the new deputy deduced that only Shadowclan and Windclan were present at the moment. Good, I still have some time to figure out where to sit. The new deputy was pretty sure that deputies had their own place, but she wasn't sure where it was. Halfgaze dreaded being absent from that place during her first gathering as a deputy. I'm hopeless, she thought with a frown and a desperate gleam in her eyes, how do I expect to be of service to my clan if I can't even figure out where to sit? For the moment, the tortoiseshell decided to simply sit near the front of seastones and keep an eye out for any deputies she recognized in order to follow or ask them.

Sandthistle padded behind his clanmates, firmly planting his paws with confidence. He stood tall, head raised high and posture impressive. His neck swiveled as he surveyed the area, yellow eyes sharply observant. He felt his whiskers twitch and ears flick at the abundance of sounds and scents around him. He'd been to Gatherings plenty of times before, but the bundle of activity never failed to surprise him. The sandy-ginger tomcat paused for a moment to search the Seastones until his intimidating gaze fell on his daughter. Sandthistle still hadn't congratulated Halfgaze on her success, and he intended to do so now.

He trotted over to the younger cat, his strides long and quick. Sandthistle wore an inviting smile which was very different from the threatening gaze he displayed just moments before. His kits often had the ability to change his mood in a flash. See, Sandthistle was never very comfortable among the other Clans, preferring to stay in his comfort zone. This doesn't mean he wasn't willing to leave his comfort zone; after all, he did attend the Gathering. Anyway, he was feeling uncomfortable, but the presence of his daughter seemed to ease him.

``Halfgaze!`` Sandthistle purred warmly as he slowed to a stop just a tail-length or so in front of her, golden eyes gleaming affectionately. ``Good luck as deputy, my daughter,`` He nuzzled her lovingly before pulling away, smiling proudly and taking a moment to look her over. ``You've grown so much; you've made your family so proud.``

Risingstorm's ears twitched as her charge for the evening chattered on with another Shadowclan apprentice. A warm smile touched her face, remembering the friendships she'd forged as apprentice, the ones that had stuck with her and seemed to grow deeper as she grew not only as a warrior, but as a cat. It was just at that moment that she glanced one such friend following close behind Goldenstar as he went to take his place with the leaders for the first time. There was Halfgaze, the tortoiseshell and black shecat looking lost as she glanced around. Trying to find a place to sit, I bet, Risingstorm thought to herself. She knew the shecat well enough to read her body language. A maternal purr gathered in her chest. I owe her a congratulation anyway, she said to herself. She turned to glance at her charge and said, "Nightpaw, stay here with Snowpaw, won't you? I'll be right back."

Nightpaw looked up briefly from her conversation with Snowpaw, just long enough to say, "Huh, yes ok, Risingstorm!" and go right back to gossiping.

The long-haired, grey shecat slipped gracefully between cats, her heart warming in anticipation of congratulating her new friend. Sandthistle, Halfgaze's father, approached the young deputy as she made her way over. She nodded in greeting to the senior warrior. "Evening, Sandthistle," she said, her voice warm and soft as kit fur. "And congratulations to you, deputy!" she meowed to Halfgaze, butting her head affectionately against her friend's shoulder, whispering as she did so: "You're doing just fine. Don't worry so much. Goldenstar picked you for a reason."

He bounced. "Im from Windclan." He purred. The tom now thought he had made his first friend.

(Indeed)

Blossompaw's fur heated up badly as she felt the tom's cheek press against hers, her tail wrapped even tighter around his paws, she wasn't gonna let go, well, not right now, never... Just like him, she never wanted this moment to end.

JaggedSpot rested her head against Blacktail's shoulder, sighing and curling her tail around his.

Then she spotted a cat passing by, and she looked up, lifting her head. "Oh, look! That she-cat looks lonely!"

She calls out to the other she-cat. "Hey!" she meowed. "Come join us!" she stood up to greet the she-cat.

@Dovekit12

Blacktail's ears perked as he heard Jappedspot call out for someone, with all the scents, it was pretty hard to know who it was, but as it got closer, he could more or less tell who it was,
so he preffered not to take a guess, getting it wrong would be kind of embarassing.
