Beanpaw
________

Unfortunately for Beanpaw, it was one of those days. The kind of day that the hustle and bustle of the camp grows old and tiring. A particularly lonely day, in fact. Though he wasn’t exactly sure if apprentices were supposed to be off on their own, here he was, wandering about the territory. He was lost in his thoughts, and let his paws take him where they wanted to go. Which was how he ended up here.

Currently, the siamese was sitting in the shadow of a tree, blue eyes clouded with grief and wistfulness. As much as he liked Sassafrasfire, or tried to like them, they couldn’t quite fill in the gap in his heart that was left by Grizzlybug. Oh, Grizz. Even thinking of his name brought on a fresh wave of grief, almost as crippling as when the apprentice first found out he was gone. Beanpaw had wasted half a moon in the apprentice’s den, waiting for his beloved father figure to return. Now, it had been... two moons? He had learned to cope, and accepted the fact that he... he was gone. But still, there were days when he was just down. And, unfortunately for Beanpaw, it was one of those days.

Taking a leisurely walk was something Sparrowskip never did. He was just always busy with something and never had the time. But, he had a lot on his mind lately and decided it would help his mental state. While walking he stumbled into the sleepy thicket and saw something in a tree, it looked like some sort of raccoon. But actually, know that he thought about it it was too slender to be a raccoon.. what was that? "Uh, Hello?" He called into the trees. @eerie elysian

As they walked, she listened to him. It was true, she needed more practice. She wished she had an apprentice, so she could brush up on those skills. But, she was probably to young and inexperienced.
Creekflow offered to help her. At first, she thought about saying no, but wasn't quite proud enough to refuse just because she didn't want to seem desparate. Besides, it might be good for her. A training partner was the next best thing to an apprentice. "That sounds nice," she said with a small purr, "I would like that." She only hoped she wouldn't make a complete fool of herself.

Beanpaw
________

The young cat was content to sit in the darkness of the tree, despite the chilly wind ruffling his fur. That was, until a voice echoed though the trees. Lifting his head, his bleary blue eyes spotted a cat. Trying desperately to put a name to the face, he came up with... something. "Sparrow...slip? Scarecrow...skip? Uh, um. Hi!" Quickly making himself look presentable, the young cat shoved his grief to the back of his mind. Or, at least, he tried. "Uh, uh. Um. How, how are you,?"

"Great! Honestly, I didn't really think you'd agree but I guess I was proven wrong. Thanks for giving me a chance. It'll be an interesting experience, fun too. I'm a bit rusty myself so some training would do me real good." replied the young warrior, an easy grin plastered on his face. He slowed down a bit to match her pace. There was no need to have a quick walking tempo at all. He needed to enjoy his time and spend some time with his clanmate. It didn't hurt to try and get to know her better.

"Silverpool, do you have a favorite hobby? Not many know this about me but I enjoy collecting shiny stones I find in water. I just think they're neat. i know it's kinda random but in a way, it sorta suits me."

"Why wouldn't I want to?" she laughed, "It's not like you ran into me or anything." To be honest, a cat had to do something pretty serious for Silverpool not to like them.

"A hobby? You mean besides running into random toms with my eyes closed?" She asked sarcastically. "Well, I suppose I like swimming and watching minnows. You know, the little fish that are too small to catch. I think they know it 'cuz they aren't afraid of me at all." She imagined Creekflow collecting sparkly pebbles and laughed, "It does suit you, in a weird way," she teased and nudged him with her shoulder.

Hanging out in a tree, sounds like something Sparrowskip would do. Also, what was a scarecrow? "Its Sparrowskip." He chuckled. "Your beanpaw, right?" He'd seen this cat around before, but hadn't really talked to them. @eerie elysian

The tom couldn't help but snort in amusement. He hadn't really interacted with anyone this outgoing and fun before. She was a rather nice presence to be around. He was looking forward to training with her. Hopefully it'll prove to be an exciting time for them both.

"You run into toms that often? Wow. Maybe you should teach me that skill. It'd be a fun guessing game trying to predict who I'll tackle and get acquainted with next." quipped the mottled warrior, blue-green gaze sparkling with mirth. There was a hidden meaning to his words but she didn't need to know them. It was his own desires trying to rear their ugly heads.

"Minnows are quite tough and annoying to catch. The few I've caught took me a while. Shows how much I need that practice... You think minnows can laugh? If they can, they'd be in hysterics when they see me trying to hunt them." he continued, a light-hearted chuckle slightly shaking his frame. Before settling down completely, he playfully returned the shoulder bump, a slacked grin overtaking his maw.

A few moments of silence passed before he decided to break it, "How often do you enjoy going out to swim or run?" He turned to look at her before speaking up again, "Just wondering since, well, if you're alright with it, I'd like to join ya one of those times. I don't get to hang out with others that often and it kinda gets a bit tiring being by my lonesome, ya know?"

Silverpool smirked. "You have no idea. I could teach you, but I have a feeling you'd do more damage than I did to you." She imagined the much larger cat running into, say, Almondpaw. It wasn't pretty.

She laughed, "Why would you even try to catch a minnow in the first place? They're no good for eating. And I'm sure you can't be that bad." Silverpool kind of envied the cats who were excellent in one field, even if they were mouse-brains at everything else. She was just average. An average fighter, and average hunter, an average swimmer.

Silverpool thought about his question. "Well, I go down to Lionsbeach pretty frequently, mostly just to look at the water, but sometimes I'll swim. And I basically run everywhere. If I'm by myself, I run. If I'm with anyone else, I probably wouldn't because that makes it hard to talk." And she loved to talk, so there was no way she'd tire out her companion by forcing them to sprint if they wanted to chat with her. "Yeah, that would be nice. I usually go when I have nothing to do but now I can go for an actual reason," she smiled.

The muscular tuxedo ran swiftly, all the way to Sleepy Thicket. She wanted to get some exercise going. After a good run, she settled down and tecided to practice some stealth. She darted into a bush quietly.
