"Hi, Patch!" she lowered her head, yellow eyes focused on the nervous kit. " A lot, huh?" glancing at a full house of kits and queens. Well, mainly kits ha. "My name is Sugarapple, nice to see an adorable kit like you joining Riverclan. It may look confusin' right now but you'll adjust in no time." The tortie gazed at another new face, 'Snowdonia' was it? Most interesting name so far! "Nice to meet ya too, Snowdonia. Please, both of you, make yourself at home. There's some prey in the center and nests in the back if you need a wink of sleep."

Sugarapple's tail swayed madly to hear the kit's adorable yawn. How sweet. "You can take a snag right over there," looking over at the small prey pile in the center. "Then you can lay right over there, your nest will be next to mine. Ya can always mingle later with your denmates." @Alexcentri

Foxpaw smiled wider by the minute. "Of course we will be, I may be small but I'm the fastest cat this clan will ever see and I'm sure Dogkit will have my back when he becomes an apprentice." she said smiling. Dogkit was actually already her size if not bigger than her, she just didn't see the need to bring that information up.

Fernkit put her paws on the mossball and stilled it. How did he not know what toys were. He grew up in the forest, Twolegs don’t give toys to forest cats, you fuzz-brain! She thought, inwardly cringing. Oh well. He knew about it now. “Most of the time their soft, and have weirdly-shaped pelts, but some are bouncy while others are squishy. My Twolegs gave them to me and my littermates before I left.” Her gaze was even and towards the end of her sentence, she let go of the moss ball and gently patted it back to the younger tom.

Fernkit tilted her head questioningly. “What’s a jellyfish?” Fernkit asked with a quizzical look at the other tom. Was it like a dangerous version of her pelted toys? Fernkit kept her gaze glued to the moss ball as they passed it back and forth, her mind whirling with unspoken questions. “Where do they live? What are they like?” She burst out, then ducked her head in embarrassment. She hadn’t meant to overwhelm the younger tom with her questions.

Fernkit looked at the tom with wide eyes. They Live In the Sea? Fernkit wasn’t exactly sure what the sea was either. “They must hurt then. Are they like fish? Can they breathe underwater? Where’s the sea? They sound like bigger blobs of cute bees!” Fernkit thought bee’s were cute, but she also hated how badly their stingers hurt when you stepped, or worse, ate, one of them.

Dogkit looked at sugarapple. "Do you know where Flyffur is? he asked the queen. He hadn't seen her for a while and wanted to show her the battle move he learnt.

Fernkit listened to Blizzardkit with wide, awed eyes. Who knew? They sounded like cute fish! Oh dear, I hope they don’t get eaten! They sound to cute! She fretted, but when he called them Jellybee’s she giggled. What a strange word! Jelly...bees. It sounded like a weird RiverClan name the rest of these cats seemed to have. “Have you ever seen one? What do they look like?!” Excitement made her questions once more come out in a rush and she hoped the younger tom wasn’t tiring from her endless stream of questions.
