Frostfeather felt her feet slip under her but she caught herself. Raising an eyebrow she studied her apprentice.

“Sunpaw that was a strong kick, that was much better! I would advise that as you practice it try to unsheath your claws. You can practice against a tree to make sure you don’t hurt anyone.” Her ear flicked.

“Let’s talk about one other move that I think might spike your interest. Your very fast so I think this would work especially well with your skills. I like to call it the fish!”

Frostfeather proceeded to run towards the open clearing and then leaped, twisting in mid air as she landed. The move had allowed her to fully slash at imaginary opponents at all sides. Turning back to Sunpaw she flashed a warm smile. “Alright go ahead and try it.”

She turned to WillowVine and frowned. She wasn’t sure whether the other warrior was trying to make fun of them.

“WillowVine,” she stated, “ I don’t mind you watching but if you could not distract Sunpaw that would be much appreciated. She’s doing a great job so yes I would say that we are a good match.”

Frostfeather watched WillowVine pad away, slightly feeling bad for scaring the she cat off.

“WillowVine,” she called, “ why don’t we catch up a bit later back at camp. If Sunpaw continues to be such a formidable opponent then I’ll make sure to ask you for help in doing a double attack. “ she smiled warmly and gave her a wave of her tail before turning back to Sunpaw.
