Time kept moving whether Wormbite wanted it to not. With the recent news of Shimmeringpool he wanted to isolate himself. Yet Thunderclan was an overwhelming threat. He refused to have his apprentice end up dead at the cost of his own emotions. So, the tom would drag Frostpaw out of her cozy nest and to the Training Island.
The tom stood in front of Frostpaw, he doubt she had any battle experience if she lacked hunting. Still, Wormbite needed to see her strengths and weaknesses in action before he could adjust his training plan for her. "We're going to spar. Keep your claws sheathed however I want your best, " Wormbite meowed, taking a step back.
He gave her a nod, bracing himself for whatever move Frostpaw could think of. "When you're ready."

Frostpaw stood still, thinking hard. What move? Should she go for the head, or the shoulders? Should she try to jump over him and go from behind? Under him? Go for his eyes to blind him - or blind him further, if he was already blind. His legs to unbalance him? His chest? There were so many ways, but it all came down to the fact that he was a seasoned warrior and she was a young apprentice with no battle training.
Finally, Frostpaw went for the legs, streaking low to the ground. When she got to him, she hard at his legs while racing past him, hoping to unbalance him. It was the smartest and easiest move she could do. Attacking him straight on was stupid, and jumping over him was worse. This was Frostpaw's only option.
