Failpaw quickly dodged with a simple sidestep, turning around and aiming a few slashes at the tom's face. |

Frogpaw landed and dodged one hit him but didn’t bleed he ran at the cat aiming for the chest teeth baring and claws out (if there aloud to have them out) he slashed at failpaw |

The small molly dodged again, easily sliding about like a slithery snake. Failpaw let out a low growl as she used the tom's moves. Righ. Curseface says more attack, less defense. She tried to land a couple of slashes on the tom before stepping nimbly out of reach. |

The taste of blood of shadowcat on his tongue made him want to scrape it against the dirt while simultaneously yearning for more. This was a battle. He settled on more, though he would much rather flesh than blood. Talonstone leaped into the air while Frogpaw dashed towards him, planning on either kicking out at the apprentice or landing on his back depending on which would be more effective. Without claws, he would be easier than usual to shake off, though there was also a good reason that larger felines were expected to refrain from pouncing at smaller, lighter cats during sparring sessions. |

Re: ShadowClan Training Cliffs
[Apologies for the delay! But also, a note to those who haven't had their cats show, I will stop mentioning you after this and qualify your cat as a no show as its been a long time sense they were sent out. If you post after this post I will add you back but if not I'll assume you don't want/can't do this.] GROUP #1 @QueenCuphead @feather lily @Snook @Rani @Lynxpaw [Moonpaw, Frogpaw, Quailpaw{not shown up}, Strikepaw, Failpaw] Owlspots watched as the four apprentices fought, her icy eyes narrowed to slits as she took in every detail, their stance, their techniques. This was tell her what they needed taught and what she needed to correct. It appeared Strikepaw was quiet fast and nimble, getting quick attacks off and easily sliding under Moonpaw, who despite her questionableness was not the worst fighter. However, the two were now tangled up with claws dug into each other. Something she'd let the two sort out themselves. Frogpaw and Failpaw on the other paw were not as evenly balanced. Frogpaw was aggressive and risky, something that could get him killed in battle. Failpaw was easily dodging all the young toms moves. Even if the ex warrior should be doing more attacks. "Frogpaw, be more critical, you are rushing blinding into this. If this were a true battle against a warrior you would have died, fighting requires more that brut strength and rushing at the cat. Use your brain." Owlspots informed the tom. ~*~ Group #2 @S t a r @/Snook @Willowfern @Mumble @Bread [Darkpaw, Hazelpaw{Showed up not posted since}, Pumpkinpaw, Ashenpaw{Not shown up}, Pinepaw{Showed up not posted since}] Owlspots was disappointed in Hazelpaw and Pinepaw, both young felines ignoring her. However, they still ranked over Ashenpaw, that brat did not even follow them. Lashing her tail she would turn back to Pumpkinpaw and Darkpaw. "We will be moving on." She informed the two. Now that they had the basic battles crouch down, they needed to move on to the basic attack. Positioning herself where the two apprentices could see her properly she would slide back into a flawless crouch. "From where you are, shift your weight to your hunches, raising your body up like so," Owlspots explained, moving back to be sitting on her hunches. "Using your tail for balacne, take one of your legs, out reached, and use your unsheathed claws to attack your opponent with a slash." The snow bagel went out, stretching out her paw and slicing through the air, claws glistening in the weak sun. "Now demonstrate." Owlspots ordered, dropping onto all fours again. |
