Tail gently wrapping in front of his paws as they began to trickle in. This time around, they came in a more staggered manner. He was very pleased with it. He'd happily take silence. No news is good news. Gently the tom looked around for prey, if there was none he wouldn't and doesn't mind. Truthfully he sent them out to make sure the other Clan was behaving. Sharp eyes landed on Silverleopard, brow quirking. "Well. Did you learn anything about how to properly talk to your Apprentice, and how to teach them without acting like a kit yourself?" he asked. Hopefully the point got through to the she-cat. "If you understood. And truly understood, than you all are dismissed. If you caught any prey please place it in the patrol pile. Based off catch alone the other Hunting patrol has won by a landslide." a snort. He was on overnight guard duty. He didn't bring them all to that place to hunt, anyways. Fernwhisper Patrol @AnnaPukite , @sleepyyjax , @Fish That. Was new. The older tom couldn't help but chortle at the statement. "On him?" he chuffed. Looking over the warrior to look his son over quickly. So far, it seemed like all limbs were attached. His grin widening as the idiot trotted in late with the smelly thing flip flopping in his mouth. "Good work. Feel free to drop it off in the prey pile." he hummed. Stepping closer to Hornetpaw, he did a more thurough look over. "It is a fish brat. Edible by the looks of it too so just drop it off in the pile." he snorted. "I'm sure no badgers or foxes would wanna eat you because of your stench too." a flick of the tail. A gentle push aimed towards Hornetpaw towards the Prey pile if it landed. Violetfreckle Patrol @vellichor , @Star , @Spider , @SillyLittleCherry , @nyme , @SugarheartzSage Next up was Bumblestar's wife. Ah good. Everything was well and within order he would happily take all this lack of news...other than that fish. That was hilarious. A curt nod from the calico, ear flicking as he heard the apprentices bicker. Maybe three on one patrol was a bit of a stretch. One of the brats being his own. "Kids." he stated gruffly, looking at the thre-oop. Looking at the two, one was walking away. "Get along." a simple statement with a hidden threat behind it. He was aging with each second. How the warriors and hornet put up with it, he'd never know. "Good work." he said, a swift dismissal. Dandelionmane Patrol @seeingstars , @korok , @Wiggleworm , @kairosclerosis Here came the final patrol. With a good haul too. Wonderful. As they got closer Spiderthroat dipped his head. "All very good catches. Goes without sayin but you lot won the competition." a pause as he made sure to keep eye contact with Dandelionmane, a sharp grin "Just barely missin 3 day in a row overnight watches." His grin dissapearing, replaced with that of a 'oh good job' look at Neetlepaw. "Good job. Keep at it, this will provide for the clan nicely...as long as there ain't any picky eaters." a snort. [ Make sure to make patrols, add your prey , and mark as completed so it gets added to the prey pile! ] |

Usually Spiderthroat was the one to handle patrols, but Bumblestar was feeling worse and worse about not getting very much done, and it had been a while since she had been able to head something like this... he wouldn't mind if she took the reigns just this once, surely. And if he did, well, he could stuff it, because she was doing it anyways.
The sun wasn't quite up yet. Golden light had begun to grace the camp, but most of it remained shrouded by clouds, and frost still made the clearing sparkle as she pushed her way through the lichen curtain and took up the spot beneath the Stormcrest, fur fluffed against the cold. Despite the morning's chill, she knew it would be somewhat warmer by sun-high; new-leaf was beginning to creep up on them, and not a moment too soon. --- --- --- ALL PATROLS ARE DUE BACK BY MARCH 12TH! --- --- ---"Rise 'n shine!" His leader's voice roused Mountaintalon from dreamless sleep, and he lifted his head, ears turning irritably. A Smallpines patrol... he felt his gut clench and growled at the feeling. Ah, the universe was finally playing jokes on him. He hadn't been back to the border since that fateful day.
He exited the warriors' den and moved to sit by the camp's entrance in order to wait for his patrolmates. An early start meant he would be mostly silent. [ @beau @Highsnow of Matterhorn ] |

Boulderspots was excited, he hadn't been on a patrol in a while and had been feeling left out. Being already out in the clearing and wide awake, as he always was at this time. He looked around and hoped to find the others in his patrol.

A bark of extremely aggressive greeting from ThunderClan's own Angry McIre was most certainly a way to do so, however. Emerald eyes uncharacteristically rounded turned towards the tabby as the former housecat blinked owlishly for a moment, only to realize that the leader was for some reason calling out patrols. As the fact settled in, the chocolate point's expression soon dampened, going back to its more accustomed deadpanned look. It was strange that Pokey wasn't the one sending out patrols today, but he wasn't going to make a fuss over it. For all he knew, the calico was ill... or dead. Who knew when it came to the star worshipers, honestly... Not daring to move much until the leader was done calling out patrols and sending them out, it took a bit of willpower for Sprucejumper to not groan at having been sent on a patrol himself. Well... no. That was a lie. He wasn't disappointed about having been sent out on patrol. That was always a good way to earn his keep in the clan. It was more the fact that he was being sent as the leader of the patrol. Ew. Could he sit back and let someone else take over? Probably not... Double ew... but whatever. He'd live. Hopefully. "Sunpaw," the tom called out, waving his tail so she could spot him with ease as he walked towards the other gathering cats. In earnest, the tom had no clue who the other two cats in his patrol were. He made a point of getting close to no one and getting to know others even less. It made for easier survival. No one could stab you in the back and shred away your trust if you didn't trust them or got friendly with them to begin with. Sure, there was one exception... Maybe two... Alright, three, but no more, damn it! It did mean his calling his apprentice served a double purpose, however. Any other cat hearing him call to Snotzilla would undoubtedly understand that he was a part of that patrol and would therefore flock to him. Assuming they were smart and knew no one's names, like him... With his experience concerning the clan cats, though, that was probably not the case, but he could always dream that he had gone by as yet another invisible, background cat for most of the star worshipers, thank you very much. @Purely_K2 [Boulderspots] | @giscoolest [Fawnshadow] | @Kix [Sunpaw] |

Boulderspots looked around when he heard the name of one of his patrol group called. Seeing the cat that he presumed called for sunpaw, he went over to them. "Hi!" He said in a cheery voice. "Sorry, but are you Sprucejumper or Fawnshadow?" He didn't ever like asking others' names, but he was really bad with them.

Mintwhisper. It was something of a familiar name, a cat he'd seen around before since his kithood. An older warrior, like his father. Old and responsible and all that stuff. Not that it really mattered, he was an apprentice. He was listening to Ravenfire, a good enough mentor, surely, but barely a moon older than him. It was his own fault, he was aware, but it still galled him somewhat. Regardless, Brindlepaw made his way to the pair of mollies. He could see his sister joining Sprucejumper, the fluffy tom of few words calling out to her. Not that it really mattered, but he threw a quick smile and a wave in his sisters direction. They had to stick together, or else he'd have no one else to hang out with. His own fault, again. I'm here. he mewed quickly, just in case his presence hadn't been noted. @Seamrog @Idiotic.Bean101

Fawnshadow exited the warrior's den with a yawn. She had sat down to relax but had fallen asleep. With a quick stretch the she-cat looked around for the others she was called to work with. Boulderspots, Sprucejumper, and Sunpaw. Cool, this would be interesting! The calico padded up to the other with a gentle smile. ``Fawnshadow, here.`` She answered with a dip of her head.

Especially when they were getting back so late... But at least today there was good reason for the tardiness. He'd gotten two chickadees and a couple of... yellow flowers he was sure he'd seen the herb cats use. And they were in excellent shape, too! Not only that, but his apprentice had done extremely well too. To the point of him almost smiling with pride. Emoting was not his strong suit, but with two crows and a bunch of roots he assumed were medicinal - the tom was certain everyone knew what different herbs did better than him... and he was sure he had seen these discussed in that lesson that Puppy had given some time ago... maybe - Snotzilla was due a celebratory... something or other once they were done here. He just needed to figure out what that something could be after they'd handed in their goods. That left the other two warriors. Spotted and... the other one who's name he had honestly already forgotten. Names were meaningless if you weren't going to interact with the cat in question again, anyways. But they had done good, too. Only one bird between the two of them, but it was a big one. Even he tended to have some trouble hunting down bigger prey like that, no matter how fun it was. That would feed the entire nursery and then some. All in all, he figured not even Angry could find a reason to want to shred any of them this go around. "Successful," Sprucejumper stated once he had dropped his catch before the ThunderClan leader, glancing behind him before twitching his ear, inviting the others to hand in their catches as well. @dino. Lightningpaw was chilling and enjoying her own apprenance in the puddle when she heard the call for a patrol. She let out a sigh.. It was a struggle to gain that ideal weight back after the plague. The ideal being she didn't want to get winded after walking a little bit... Or was that muscles? Uh... Did muscles weigh anything...? What exactly were muscles anyways, how did they make lungs strong? OH YEAH THE PATROL. With that she licked her fur into place and started to walk towards the others. There was something linked with tiring oneself out and getting less tired she didn't quite understand but hells, its seems to work. "Hello! Please don't run off on me, still trying to get strong again and I'm a bit slow." She didn't say this in a sob story way but just pure information. These were herbs, there was no need to bolt away from a struggling cat and leave them prone to getting hurt by predators or what not. @Songtail @kira @Splashcloud |

With some cats Quackpaw has never talked to in their entire life! Well they better be fun then! Booooo she needed to wait for two other patrolmates? Time’s tickin’ they better arrive soon. C’mon, where’s this Alpinepelt and Bravepaw cats were? Quacky’s eyes scanned the clearing for..uh..well she never paid attention to what they look like “Alpinepelt! Bravepaw! Over hereeee!!!!” after all she’d been so bored earlier; so the quacker wouldn’t say no to the patrol. Her first patrol! Horsetail and Borage! Two herbs she didn’t know either and she’ll have to try and imagine what they look like; ‘long hollow plant with green stems’ and ‘gray plant with soft hairy leaves’ are vague as hell. But Quackpaw was sure she’ll know what they are as soon as she sees them [Pretty sure Miku was just a misspell of my username] |
