Greenwing looked up to see Hickorysmoke sitting smugly on a log. She flipped off her back so she was upright again and gave him a stare. "Hey, Hickorysmoke. Do you need something?"

Alpinemoon followed her mentee Beetlepaw, to the Cattail Pond anxious. It was one thing that Beetlepaw reminded her of the "bad" Beetlepaw she interacted with twice. But it was a whole lot of other things when she got picked to be a mentor. Put them together, then BAM! You got yourself an overly anxious Alpinemoon!

She was very stiff and her ears were flattened sideways. Poor her, she had never interacted with this Beetlepaw before. Alpinemoon knew she couldn't teach him like the way Wolfhive had taught her.

"Oh dear, what am I supposed to do?! I never talked to this Beetlepaw before. I think I will fail as a mentor. I know what I am going to do! Just stand there and looking at the ground....Wait, that is horrible...Yep, I am just too shy for my own good." Alpinemoon thought as her stiff legs took her.

She was dreading all of her training sessions (especially the first one) with Beetlepaw. If only he could understand how she felt and not jeer at her. Well, the only way Beetlepaw could get trained one-on-one is him asking Alpinemoon to show the correct way.

A part of Alpinemoon wished that another warrior could help in this training instance. This molly was usually pessimistic. She could not think properly. If only there was a trustworthy cat she was comfortable with to talk to were here...

It was. Frustrating. He was falling behind. He wasn't getting any better. Truth be told the thought of training, the thought of learning as much as he could. While still not being enough was terrifying. He had a shadow that he had to grow into. One that he was faltering in growing into.

That anger and frustration bubbled, and eventually reached a boiling point. His attempted calm demeanor immediately vaporated. His face contorted in desparate anger. His voice warbled as he called out to his mentor, pleading, loud, begging. "PLEASE." his voice cracked. ears pinned back.

Dears began to pool , than run down his cheeks. The apprentice huffing as he attempted to get his emotions in control. He hadn't felt so much in, no that's not true. He never allowed himself to feel, not freely. So here it was, all his anxiety, anger , sadness , worry . All of it. Pouring out onto poor Alpinemoon. He would be lying if he felt as though she didn't deserve to feel awkward.

"Teach me something. Anything. Don't just stand there." he stated angerly. Although it was more of a young child anger more than anything. His attempted grown up persona has completley shattered. Instead. Standing in front of the Warrior was a young, acting his age, Beetlepaw. A snot nosed apprentice who's put way too much weight on his shoulders.

Alpinemoon just stood there with a blank face while Beetlepaw said, "PLEASE." She stopped in her tracks and blinked slowly. Alpinemoon was internally screaming out of panic. She had no idea what to do.

After Beetlepaw's request/statement, her ears were tucked and she froze. How can an inexperienced mentor like her deal with this? To top all off, everything about her body language was aimed right at stress. Her fur was starting to shed. She stared right at Beetlepaw with an unwavering gaze.

A few minutes passed, she started to say something. But, it was too quiet for anyone to hear. Alpinemoon stopped. She looked at her paws and started to groom them. But, she started to excessively groom her paws. What could she do?

After that, she spat out some fur out and breathed heavily. Alpinemoon closed her eyes and focused on her breathing. "Nice and slow." she thought. She tried her most/best to ONLY focus on her breathing. Once she was calm enough, she opened her eyes and tried to smile. Her smile was a shaky one, alright...

The young molly tried to remember her training. Slowly, she crouched and pounced onto a stick. Snap! It broke. She walked backwards, stopped to where she was, and gestured for Beetlepaw to try.

Acornfall purred with pride at how Emberpaw has filled out. He could tell the kid was working hard. But he wasn't quite a match for Acorn yet! The brown tabby was warmed by Ember's question, and he couldn't help purring before pulling his apprentice in with one arm before playfully scruffling the timid tom's head with his other paw. "O'course ya can kid!" He chirped happily, letting Emberpaw go. "Tell ya what, let's talk about it on the way! I gotta idea!" He meowed with a big, goofy grin before starting to head to their destination. He knew Wolfhawk was technically the leader of the patrol here, so jovial ole Acornfall - Sir No Boundaries - gave the medic a gentle nudge.

"Let's get on then!" The broad-shouldered tom chirped. As they walked to Cattail Pond, Acornfall beamed at Emberpaw. "'Kay so, I've been thinking about doing a training activity with the kittos. Does that sound like something you'd wanna help with?" He asked, his eyes shining excitedly.

Risingstorm lead the way out of the camp and strait into cattail pond Stingpaw, Drizzlepaw since you two are my apprentices I'll show ya the ropes, Treetiger feel free to hunt about he mowed with a tail flick, the hornet knew she was much more of a cat who preferred to be alone than with others.

Risingstorm turned to his apprentices “ Okay ya two, Lets start off with a basic hunting crouch he said crouching down onto his haunches his tail low and his body close to the ground, but not directly on it “ You wanna make sure your bodys not touching the ground and your tail is low so prey wont see you the hornet said before sitting back up. Risingstorm flicked his tail slightly Go ahead n try it ill correct you with anything ya need with that he waited

he padded out behind his mentor, blue-gray fur still slightly damp as always, he hated his fur.

he missed poppy, and that day was still vivid in his mind. "do you think you could take me to pop's grave one day?" he looked pleadingly towards risingstorm, a sorrowful but soft look on his face.

he paused as risingstorm began to speak again, hunters crouch, okay. simple.

[rolled a 13! decent success]

he mimicked the brown tabby's crouch, a little bit sloppy but otherwise rather well-formed. body not touching the ground, tail above the dirt and not scraping it, but his legs were a little splayed. "like this?"

Treetiger let out a small huff as Risingstorm dismissed her, her tail flicking behind her as she padded past the trio and into the undergrowth. Her ears would flick, gaze casting over her shoulder briefly. She could've sworn she heard pawsteps following her! Thankfully, it wasn't any of those three, but it appeared that her friend was making an appearance... or at least letting her know they were present right now. That must've been the extra set of pawsteps.

Anyways, the warrior would pad until she was out of sight, but could still hear them. Staying within earshot of each other was always the smartest thing out here.
