Dawn'Kit Looked at Snow'Kit before answering. "I understand where he's coming from...for running off...Although it might not be fair for others around him... he might just want to feel... a place where he can feel accepted and happy...he might wish he could have a redo on the miserable reality of his life..". She said a hint of sadness swept through her voice, most of these thoughts were how she felt deep down but she didn't want to admit it. 'If i could have a redo... I would bring back my stillborn brother and die in his place...then at least he, mother and father would all be happy...'. She thought dully."...Sometimes...When bad things happen there are things that cant be fixed... but if you properly explain how you feel to him... he might just listen..". As she spoke with a mature manner she looked at Eagle'Paw, her eyes were dull but sad.

Eaglepaw looked curiously at the she-cat. "I see...I think I understand." He said, still wondering what this she cat had been through. "Just a question. Not to ever come off as rude or offend you, but whatever happened to you so that you don't feel love?" He asked her politely. His tail twitched tentatively, his mind hungry for answers. Eaglepaw decided to sit down. The sun was hot and hurt his paws, so he sat down as he waited for a response.

Bellkit was stunned. "Love is infinate. I, my mother was never really around and niether was my father once we were weaned. It was always my brothers that looked after me and Skykit.. but, now Snowkit hqtes me and he is my big brother...I love him more than anyone else, and he even thinks I don't care anymore...but, no matter what he says or thinks, I will always love him." He gaze hardened a bit and she looked away. Snowkit was angry. He had every right to be. He was injured. An injury that wouldn't heal. He was different, but she justed wanted her brother back. The Snowkit that cared for all, not just himself..

Bellkit stared at her. "A mistake?" She echoed, "Why are you a mistake" You seem like a perfect kitten to me. Why would you be a mistake, I think your wonderful... your smart, brave, loyal." She looked at Dawnkit with a smile. "How bout this? We can be friends. You me, Eaglepaw, Snowkit, Thunderkit, even Skykit. If you don't want to be around the family that calls you a mistake, come find us. We always have room for one more family member." She smiled, placing her paw on eagle's again and leaning into his soft, warm fur.

Eaglepaw smiled at the kit. "Bellkit is right, Dawnkit. Nobody's perfect. No matter what happened, it's never your fault. It can sometimes be a mistake that the person is blaming you, but you, are never the mistake. Nobody is" He reassured Dawnkit. "You are absolutely welcome to be friends with us! Or like Bellkit said, family. Wddaya say?" Eaglepaw cocked his head convincingly.

She felt hesitant, what will her parents do if they found out? granted they don't exactly care."I...". She didn't know what to say, she wasn't the most social cat out there neither was she so carefree, she fell silent thinking deeply. 'i only just met these cats and they want to take me of all cats into their family'. After hearing What they said about her not being a mistake she felt utter sadness rise within her, here she was being told by strangers she was no mistake without them knowing the full story while her own flesh and blood disregard her and pay her no mind. "I-I ... Y-You can't just say things like that when you don't understand the f-full extent of the story!". She spoke in a heart-wrenching tone, she felt guilt and jealously prick her senses, although they were like her whose parents didn't exactly pay them any mind, Dawn'Kits parents were always arguing and playing the blame game. 'they have each other while... I am all alone...like the miserable mistake I am'. She thought as she felt a tear roll down her cheeks, her emotions that had been pent up were finally spilling out.

Eaglepaw felt surprised at this wave of sadness. "Dawnkit! Dawnkit, don't cry!" He said sympathetically. He gives her time to feel herself again. "Here, why don't you tell us the rest of the story, if it helps you feel better" Eaglepaw explained to Dawnkit. He listned, ears pricked, heart ready, soul ready, muscles tensed and senses alert. He wanted to hear her story. Her full story. He smiled at her kindly, willing her to go on.

Bellkit's mouth hung open. She never thought that a cat could feel so utterly alone in this world. Then, without realizing how it happened, Bellkit's gaze grew hard. "I wasn't implying that I knew everything, I was merely trying to be helpful and kind to you! You looked as if you could use some genuine kindness!" She felt eagles gaze boring into her vack, but she didnt stop. Her pain guided her words. Her pain of her brothers and everything happening SO fast. "Know what?" She snarled, "I've tried amd this has led nowhere! I'm up to my eartips in stress about MY family and NOT ONE CAT HAS ASKED IF I AM OKAY! And guess what?I'm not!" With those words, she spun on her paws, and, still fuming, stomped over to the fresh kill pile, grabbed a shrew and picked at it halfheartedly.
