Grimstar, irked with the lack of cats returning to camp, was on his way out of the camp to call for the lot back that was until he noticed the kitten in camp. It wasn't Bugkit... A little confused, the large black tom padded over and attempted to poke the small thing with one of his huge paws. "Hey, kit, where'd you come from?"

He was not crazy about being out of camp, but his warriors were proving to be incompetent again. He was out looking for them. Sometimes he felt like a parent stuck babysitting a bunch of kits.

"Hmm, that's not SkyClan's scent," Grimstar grumbled to himself, taking a detour as he found the loner sitting at the border. "Can I help you?" He quired, narrowing his orange eyes.

There was a stranger in his trees?! A bit harder to see with such a dark pelt, but Grimstar scents and sighted her nonetheless. "Hey, stranger, out of the tree." The Clan leader called up, planting his huge front paws against the trunk of the tree the she-cat was in. He was tempted to climb up and swat the cat out of the tree himself but then thought better. No need for broken bones or anything like.
