What's He Like?

Fantastic question! Brokenstream is generally very friendly and prides himself on being approachable in his Clan. While he does try to display optimism for the most part, he is undeniably a worrywart and quick to shut down any ideas he may deem too dangerous or risky. He has the tendency to appear like a queen scolding a kit when he gets scared about someone he cares about safety. However, he does still like to go on adventures with friends and discover new things.

He is about 28 moons old. I'd prefer not to go too far from his age, but throw them at me and I'll let you know!

One of his favorite pass times is training apprentices and playing with the kits in the nursery. Swimming and fishing are his specialties- and probably the key to his heart. If you excel and challenge him in either of these, he will most likely fall right into your trap...but there's still a catch.

What's The Catch?

Brokenstream is clueless! He wouldn't know if someone was flirting with him if a fish tail full of it came out of the water and slapped him right in the face! This does not mean your character needs to be very assertive about their feelings if that doesn't fit their personality. However, it may just take a bit longer for Broken to realize and so forth confess.

What's His Sexuality?

Brokenstream is heterosexual- meaning he will only be interested in she-cats. I'm also hoping for them to have kits later ^^

Anything Else?

Yes, actually! Brokenstream is a very important character to me who I intend to keep active for a long time to come, especially seeing as he is Head Lionheart. While I don't mind if you make a new character to entertain this romance, I do ask that is one that you intend on keeping active! Of course, things can change and that is perfectly fine and understandable, but please let me know if so :3

Also, be open to a slow-burn and brainstorming some plots with me! I want this to be fun for all involved ^^

I'm offering Sandbreeze of Riverclan! She's a 25 moon old cream tabby molly with bright green eyes, adopted collectively by some queens and raised with no specific parents.

Physically she is small, light and agile, with thin fur and a long tail. She loves swimming and would spend days in the water if she could.

Personality-wise, I am sadly incapable of making a fully stable character, but I can make a girlboss! She's highly competent, taking any opportunity she can to prove herself as a true warrior of Riverclan. She struggles with resting, as she worries that others will find her weak, so she's always up and about doing something or training. She really wants an apprentice so she can be Deputy or even Leader someday. Secretly she does very much want a mate and kit, but thinks she can't chase that dream until she's the best warrior she can be. Any competition or challenge put forth will be met with a firm "You wanna bet?", and she always tries to be the first to start doing something fun on patrols. Very extroverted.

ryelight is a confident, laid-back she-cat with a thoughtful and kind heart. she enjoys training the little ones, striking up a conversation with whoever she can get her paws on, and especially hunting. while she might seem cool and collected to her clanmates, once she's close with someone, she can be a bit of a menace.

since ryelight is brokenstream's senior by a moon or so, they of course spent their apprenticeship together. finding brokenpaw fun to talk and and especially to mess with (likely due to his sweet, responsible and sometimes worrying personality,) ryepaw basically just... decided brokenpaw was hers. in an affectionate way, of course. she mysteriously began sitting next to him at meetings and dinnertime, finding a way to get on the same training sessions as him, and challenging him to friendly competitions. unfortunately for brokenpaw, immature apprentice ryepaw was a skilled gaslighter, and just acted like nothing was out of the ordinary. like they were always friends! and it's not like he'd be believed if he tried to claim the pleasant, gifted apprentice ryepaw was relentlessly teasing him... poor broken.

secretly, ryepaw might've developed a teensy crush on him. the two of them drifted apart after apprenticeship, possibly due to some incident or both of them just growing up. ryelight still has a soft spot for him, and they're still friends, in their own confusing way... i'm sure she's proud that brokenstream is head lionheart, if not a little huffy that he's her superior now, lol. but she definitely supports him. since their relationship has stayed the same for so long, i'm unsure what would change it, and clue brokenstream in that ryelight has been flirting with him... for the past 20 moons or so, haha. perhaps a friend's intervention? and does something happen to make brokenstream catch feelings, or is it a situation where he already has them, and just hasn't realized it? does one of them get an admirer and the other is jealous?? drama potential

now more about ryelight in general! she cares for her clan and respects the current high ranks, trusting them to make the right decisions, for the most part. ryelight has a sophisticated, elegant demeanor and quite the relaxing voice. she doesn't try to seem that way, that's just how she is. here's a little tangent, but if i remember correct, brokenstream used to be a drypaw? imagine, skilled swimmer ryepaw poking fun at brokenpaw for that, but in the present SHE'S the one who can't swim. maybe she almost drowned or something, and now is secretly scared to get back in the water... i think it would be a cute plot if brokenstream helped her overcome that. i'm sure ryelight has various silly quirks, ones that would make her seem a bit less cool if discovered... perhaps she says weird things in her sleep, or has a dumb fear. speaking of sleep, in my mind she likes cuddles. if they do become mates, brokenstream better give his wife plenty of attention~

in the future, i'm sure ryelight would be a proud, loving mother and would dote on her kits lots. maybe having more of an adventerous parenting style than brokenstream, lol. it sounds like he might fret over his kits when it comes to anything risky, while she'd be teaching the babies how to do tumble rolls...
