[Hawkbite]
Enforcer Commander
Shadow Fiend | Agatha Kitty | Kitty Softpaws T2

The Commander moved swiftly after Dawnstar and Mistlewhisker, whomever was closer. He was already shivering, despising his decision to show up to this Gathering. He'd skip the last one or two, though, he had to make up for that. So, here he was, shivering his ass off as he took up a spot in the ShadowClan section of the Seastones. His tail whipped through the snow, discomfort keeping him irritable.

His gaze would rest on Dawnstar momentarily, before whipping around to view his clanmates and whatever clan that decided to show up next. Were his apprentices coming to this one? Perhaps he should've checked in with them before just leaving the camp with the rest of the clan. Hawkbite would have to make sure they didn't cause any trouble. He'd scan the clearing, only seeing Fishpaw, his daughter, so far. Hmm.

Re: February Gathering

Cold. Cold, cold, cold. Pondlily followed her Clanmates onto the stones, her feathery tail swaying behind her. Her river-blue hues narrowed down to slits as she sat down, kneading her paws on the smooth surface beneath her. Stars, it was cold. She had settled near the edge where she liked to blend in with the shadows a little bit and began to wash her fur.

❝ speed doesn’t matter; forward is forward regardless ❞

The tom had padded quickly alongside his clanmates to the gathering, but he had been slinking along the shadows, hardly visible to the warriors around him, and there was no way apprentices could detect him. Upon reaching the gathering place, he came from the shadows and looked around. Huh, ShadowClan was first. Of course, they are the best after all. HawkBite! He padded up to the Commander, dipping his head kindly and sitting beside him. “How’re you?” he huffed politely.

Hollowpaw
‘The Hauntress’

Shadow Fiend: Inactive | Chill of Death: Permanently Active

➢ The chill of the darkened evening had the Apprentice forcefully shiver as she joined the rest of her Clan in the trek to Seastones. Hawkbite long from view and she would be lying if it made her want to just head home early, alas she had come all this way and there was zero way she were going back undetected. So it was time to suck it up! Blue and amber eyes staring blankly ahead as they get used to the unstable sandy surface and reach a patch of rocky ground, enjoying the stability of it compared to the former.

Eyes on the lookout of the Commander as she weaves through a few of their clanmates, there he was, and so was Lionpaw. She only knew the tomcat from their ceremony day and the fact they shared it. He had also been renamed which was interesting. They would rather not interrupt their conversation so she was brief in the greeting before slinking away to go find something to do. "Hawkbite. Lionpaw." A flick of their tail as a gesture of good will after nodding her head. [ @SuspiciousMindz @Rowan ]

The starry night grabbing her attention as they sit closer to the place where the Clan healers sat, last time had been interesting t say the least, Bumblestar's outburst being the only thing that kept their attention in full. Hollowpaw begins mumble something inaudible to herself, a nursery rhyme, one that warned the dangers of the outside world to eager kittens. It's far below a whisper but it helps ease their nerves. They hated the big crowds of cats that Gatherings tended to present so she could spare their dignity just this once. They didn't intend to get the numbing, tingling in their head again...

Re: February Gathering

Sootstorm followed Lionpaw, wanting to keep an eye on her apprentice. She sat down beside the light brown tabby as he settled down next to Hawkbite, offering Hollowpaw a dip of her head in greeting.

''Hawkbite,'' the gray-and-white warrior meowed a formal greeting, dipping her head in respect to the Enforcer Commander. ''I think that you'll be pleased. Lionpaw's almost ready for his assessment. I've still got a thing or two to teach him, but he's getting there.'' Sootstorm flashed Lionpaw an affectionate look, a mixture of pride and fondness for the tom filling her green eyes. ''He's a fast learner, and I'm proud of him.''

Her eyes then flicked over to a black tortoiseshell. ''Come on, Spiritpaw! Stick close to me, it's cold.''

Mistlewhisker grunted as she made her way up onto the deputy's perch, scraping some snow away so she could sit without soaking through her fur. She would see what this Gathering held in store, but she wasn't optimistic. Not that that meant much--Mistlewhisker was rarely optimistic. She was rarely pessimistic either. She was, well... mistic, she supposed.

She also considered the possibility of a new Deputy joining her up on the rock. Then of course next Gathering they would be Leader, so Mistlewhisker was less interested.

Her one-eyed gaze traveled over the ShadowClan cats, searching for her and Dawnstar's kittens, hoping that, for once, they did not get into mischief.

Re: February Gathering

Moonmeadow
OPEN
The large feline stepped along the pack of her clan as they entered into the seastones gathering place. Brrr, It was always so cold, even during the warmer seasons, with how the breeze is turned ice cold from the sea and then washes over the clans. It made her wonder, briefly, how clans like Riverclan handled the cold breeze with no forests that can block the wind. She didn't envy them, that was for sure. With a flick of her fluffy tail, her hazy eyes scanned the place for a place to sit.

Shadowclan was first, which was nice. No need to worry about the other clans yet, but she was curious to see what findings the other clans had regarding the starcave. While not entirely panicked, she would rather know about her ancestors than not. Not many cats agreed with their position, claiming the stars abandoned them with their neglection, and perhaps that was true. But in the end, the dead was just cats like them, they served their time in their clans and the living isn't entitled to disturbing their earned rest.

Settling down towards the back of the gathering place, Moonmeadow watched as her leader made her way onto the leader place gracefully. Dawnstar was always a interesting character. Moonmeadow didn't find her frightening, not like even most Shadowclan seems to. Mistlewhisker was a cat that Moonmeadow would even consider a friend. Sleepysunrise... she didn't know well at all besides that she would surely live up to her mother's legacy. Silentpaw, that was one that Moonmeadow didn't know in the slightest, not even his family like she did with Sleepysunrise. She sighed, and took to smoothing out the fur of her flanks.
Blackberrybat
OPEN
Blackberrybat nearly skipped down into the gathering place, a pleased rumble radiating from him as he looked around. He would get more serious looking when the other clans arrived but for now he just got to hang out with his clan mates and that was good enough for him. His eyes shifted as they caught a familiar figure out of the corner of his eye, oh mom! Moonmeadow was settling towards the back of the gathering, and while Blackberrybat debating joining her there, he decided that he wanted to be more social and the back was usually for all the lone wolf types.

Who to bother? His tail was swaying playfully behind him as a grin broke along his face, maybe he could meet someone new when the other clans arrived and they were looking to be late it seemed. Shadowclan naturally was simply that early! Early bird catches the worm as mom likes to say. Something she says her mom told her often as an apprentice and is the reason why Moonmeadow seems to be allergic to sleeping in even a fraction. ( No Blackberrybat was not simply salty about his mother dragging him out of the apprentice den sometimes when he was younger. )

[Houndpaw - @wolfie ] [OPEN!!]

Their first Gathering, and the night was absolutely freezing. Even through Emberpaw's thick coat, the apprentice shivered violently as wind ripped at their face and ears. The only reason Emberpaw had gone along and not just skipped this Gathering was because their siblings were also going, and who was going to keep them in line if not for Emberpaw? Not that they'd been doing a very good job recently, because no one freaking listened to them.

Emberpaw trotted close to Houndpaw, using their brother's thick coat to hide in. ShadowClan was the first to arrive, and Emberpaw hoped the others weren't far behind. They wanted to go home and snuggle in their nest. "Stay close." They murmured to Houndpaw. "Keep you safe." There were many unfamiliar cats about to flood the area, and Emberpaw wasn't going to let their siblings get swept away. Emberpaw nosed Houndpaw's ear ina gesture of affection, but was it to soothe Houndpaw or to soothe themself?

~ BRIARSPLASH ~
stocky, large, & fluffy dilute gray tortie she-cat with goldish-green eyes; just a scratch | killer aptitude t1
[ shadowclan enforcer | she-cat | 30 moons | abrasive, standoffish, loyal ]

~

Briarsplash padded towards the back of her group of Clanmates, thick pelt fluffed out against the chill. She had missed the last Gathering and almost regretted it from the drama that she'd heard had occurred, mostly between the squirrels and the fishes. She settled in the throng of ShadowClan, a bit surprised that they were the first. That just meant they had to be out in this cold the longest. The Enforcer also looked a bit irritable, though whether it was from the cold or something else was a mystery to never be told by her stony features.
