The grey-flaked tom despised making friends. Too troublesome to keep up with, and younger felines were always so oblivious when it came to the world nowadays. He ignored Peanut's question for the time being, waiting for the feline to respond to Wasp before addressing them both, "Annex. To take for oneself. I lived here before felines began pouring in from who-knows-where, but now strangers are making themselves at home, taking my territory without permission."

Of the two felines, neither had made a good impression on him, though Wasp seemed less nervous about everything which gained him some points. "You," Granite said to Peanut, "-are part of that group." He then turned to Wasp and remarked, "As for you, you never explained your purpose for being here."

@DaniCalifornia @bmkmb

Wasp listened to the grey tom, flopping down on his side and flicking his tail in vague interest. "Did ya put up scent markers? I didn't notice any," he asked Granite, in some attempt to be helpful. Even if he had, it would be hard to keep up with them, especially in a place as big as this. That's why Wasp never bothered with territories. He was much happier as a loner.

He tilted his head at the older tom's accusation. "Me?" he asked with a grin, "Do I need a purpose?" He rolled onto his side, resting his chin on his paws casually. He wasn't too worried about a threat from Granite. The cat couldn't very well drive everyone out of his so-called territory.

"No problem. Be careful!" she added as Twinkie scampered away.

Mulberry turned away and began the search for some food for she and Jaggedfang. Before long, she had caught a vole, and, with some skillful stalking, managed to bring down a thrush pecking among some ferns. Trotting back to the den, she pushed her way through the entrance. @Lionblaze2008

Theodore
______________________

Theodore sat on top of an overturned crate in between two of the boxy shacks that served for shelter, his claws kneaded into the rotted wood as he watched for attackers looking to take his territory, For he believed that since no-one was I looking to start hierarchy of any sort, why not take advantage of it? Claiming the small alley wasn’t too momentous for others, but it was for Theodore, Rouge, born kittypet, it meant he had some level of control.
When he was finished, and bored, of watching for enemies, Theodore leaped onto a lopsided windowsill and peered into one of the shacks through the broken window. Inside, it was empty and all he saw that might be of use was a strange fluffy thing that reminded him of his kithood. He slipped through the window and into the structure, wincing as his paw pad got cut on one of the shattered pieces of glass left behind from when the window was broken all that time ago. Licking his paw rappedly, he felt the pain cease.
Now that he was inside, he realized that this place was quite warm, thus making it a perfect place for Theodore to live, since the door was closed and there were minimum holes, none big enough for a cat to squeeze through, making sure that he has the place all to himself, unless some stupid cat came into his territory, the place was his!
He settled down on the fluffy thing- now realizing it was a Twoleg pelt, probably left behind- and fell asleep, dreaming of conquering the world- or at least Fisher’s Point.

...

He awoke late morning, stretching luxuriously, he got to his paws. Now that he was rested up, he could go back to his perch to look for intruders of his territory.
Ah, today was going to be a good day.

Listening he did indeed smell a somewhat familiar scent amid the jumble, although he wasn't certain. We can go look. he mewed, his own voice betraying a hint of excitement as he gazed around for the familiar, brown shape.

leaning on his side she said
Thanks!

Excitement filled her meow as she looked around for her kit, her precious tiny.
Tiny! Tiny!

She meowed loudly through the sea of cars.

Nodding quickly, she mewed Thank you for trying anyway. before remaining in awkward silence. She didn't want to jump out on this cat who had seemed nice, but she should continue her search.

Dawn assumed the reason this cat had talked to her was because of her family. Dawn remembered when she used to have a family. It was nice. But the past was past. And nothing could change that.
Dawn was used to awkward silences. She simply lifted her eyebrow at the cat, her muscles tensed as usual.

Jaggedfang purred at the sight of the food. "Nice catch. I ahven't eaten in a few days..." He said trailing off. Then his stomach loudly growled.
