Foxstorm breathed through her nose. Elmshadow. Not some other crazy cat who thought RiverClan was good and angelic. She flicked her tail. "I was trying to find Stormshadow - though now he's supposed to be called 'Graystorm'. Please tell me that's a terrible name."
She wasn't sure if she wanted to tell Elmshadow about this, but without Darkflower, she had no one to talk to.

He contemplated a moment. "Stormshadow? What's happened to him?" As somewhat of an after thought he added, "Is he important to you?"

Foxstorm looked at the ground. "Yes. But he...he left me. Or so it seems. But I thought we had something...special." She looked at Elmshadow warily. "You probably think I'm weak."

Elmshadow lifted his chin and looked down his nose at her. The wallowing was an unknown and foreign emotion to Elmshadow, he struggled to understand how a cat could let such emotions weaken themselves. But slowly, he lowered his head sympathetically, peering into her eyes and lowly meowed, "Any cat who leaves you would have to be insane. You're better off without him."

He took a confident but slow step forward. "Weakness is only a mindset. One overcome by strength of character, and close friends." He looked away from her casually. "And as it appears you already have the strength of character to get you there," he smiled and looked back at her. "Maybe you just need some help with a close friend."

Foxstorm tilted her head at Elmshadow. What was he saying? That Stormshadow wasn't meant for her? But that couldn't be. Stormshadow had loved her! But...had he? "You really think that?" She asked. Foxstorm straightened her shoulders. He was right. If Stormshadow had really loved her, he wouldn't have left. Right?

Elmshadow studied her as her demeanor slowly changed. He could see his words gradually doing their intended job.

He smiled, more to himself than for her but he kept it smooth and charming all the same. He answered, "Well I don't speak just to hear my own voice. And any cat with eyes could see that you're beautiful, I'm sure I'm not the first to have told you that."

Foxstorm chuckled. "Oh, please." Elmshadow was jealous! He was jealous of Stormshadow! So maybe he did love her and Elmshadow had talked to him, and he was coming back! He could tell Dawnstar that RiverClan had tried to hold him hostage, and if he brought some RiverClan pelts with him....yes, that would be great.

After a lot of running around the forest, Shadefrost padded into the clearing exhausted but happy, he would finally be able to relax his tense muscles which in his opinion was something that was much needed. The young tom then went over to the fresh kill pile and took two mice in his jaws, originally planing to eat both, that was until he spotted Berrypaw only a few rabbit hops away. It had been some time since Shadefrost had seen his best friend and not feeling tired like he was just a moment ago, he decide to go over to see how she was holding up. "Hey Berrypaw, long time no see" said the young warrior "how have you been doing since the last time I've seen you." @Stardust~

Elmshadow stretched deeply. He sensed Foxstorm's excitement. An easiness overcame him, sure that he had her swooning. He purred grittily, "Do you not believe me? What kind of cat do you take me for?"

Foxstorm smirked and twitched her whiskers. "A hopeless little flirter. Don't waste you're time, Stormshadow is the only cat for me." It was kind of sad, watching him flirt or whatever he was doing. Elmshadow was really just wasting his time.
