Sootkit was surprised by the hiss and decide to stay quiet, though she was still shaking.

"Should I get the medicine cat?" asked Thrushvine.

Thrushvine came back just in time, a black kit was coming out! "The medicine cats must've been out gathering herbs, no one was there!" She gave Antfrost the stick she had found. "Bite on this," she said, "It'll help." @ Mumble

Antfrost nodded, biting down hard on the stick. She clenched her teeth when she felt a second kit get pushed out.

Sootkit watched, terrified, though she was filled with a warm feeling when the first kit was born. Then she saw the second kit coming out, and became terrified again. @Mumble

The first of Antfrost's litter, a tuxedo tom, let out a pitiful squeal to let the older cats know he was alive. He wriggled on the floor a little, his eyes still shut tightly.

Antfrost quickly nipped open the air sack, then picked him up and placed him at her belly

The tiny kit (who looked a bit more like a rat at the moment) began to nurse- instinct told him he needed food to survive. He took shelter in his mother's dark fur.

The she-kit wasn't sure where she was. She wasn't even sure who she was.She extended her paws out, only to be met with barriers all around her. She pushed against one wall, wanting to escape.
