Shadestorm smiled at Ivykit's excitement. Her enthusiasm
and loyalty to her clan would most certainly came to aid her in
the future. He felt the voice began to say something but shut her
down before she got to say anything about his kit, he didn't
usually care all that much about what she said about cats around
him but one cat he'd never let her speak badly about was Ivykit.


He was about to continue when some warrior who's name he didn't know came
up to them and started talking. Shadestorm's eye brown lowered in to a frown
as he glared at the other cat. "Well thank you for your.... " he stopped and
look them up and down "contribution..." he mewed slowly with a sharp tone
in his voice. He didn't exactly appreciate the warrior barging in on his and his daughter's
conversation. "But we were in the middle of something here" pointed out, he said
it in a way so that he expected, hoped that the cat would get the message and just leave
the two alone.

"Yes" he continued and turned back to Ivykit. "Twilightstar is
the leader of the Bunny-clan and Wolffang is their deputy as I already
mentioned. After the most recent fight we manged to claim a new piece
of land, the Sky Glade as it's known as now."

"And you're right about Dawnstar, she is one of the strongest
cats in the whole forest, if not the strongest" If you don't
count your mother that is... "As long as we have her no clan
will be able to beat us"

"Speaking of battles, I could show you some moves to beat up the
other kits with. Well as long as you keep your claws sheathed or
their parents might have your tail for that." He stopped to glance
towards the other warrior to see if they ere still there.

Ivykit turned to the warrior who she still didn't know the name of. Twilightstar was the WindClan leader, apparently. Weren't dawn and twilight both times of the day? Oh, well, names didn't matter much. She knew that she had been named for the black stripes on her pelt, which seemed to climb all over her, similar to strands of ivy. At least, according to what the others told her. Anyway, it was good to know that ShadowClan stole territory! That meant that they were strong. We showed those bunnies! Ivykit thought eagerly. Her Clan hated WindClan and called them "bunnies", and Ivykit believed them. She was two moons, but felt like the smartest kit ever!

Shadestorm didn't seem too happy about the other warrior's arrival. Ivykit tipped her head, looking at the other cat. Did he want this to just be between him? Ivykit didn't care much, honestly, since she wanted to learn as much as possible. However, her father was giving out a lot of good answers, and she could learn a lot more from him, right? Technically from everyone, but she wanted to know everything. Ivykit simply shrugged. She didn't care what he thought of the other cat. Just so long as she got the information she wanted.

Shadestorm went over the same stuff. How Twilightstar was the leader of "BunnyClan", which seemed to be a nickname for WindClan, based on Ivykit's observations. The Sky Glade was the name of their new territory, apparently. More talk of Dawnstar, which Ivykit agreed with. She really wanted to meet her. She had seen her a couple times: a huge and battle-scarred dark brown tabby with amber eyes. Ivykit was dark brown, too, and a tabby, but different. She had amber eyes, too. Sure, it was a common fur and eye color, but she felt more like a true ShadowClanner.

Fighting moves! she thought, looking up at her father. He was going to teach her battle moves! She'd heard that kits became apprentices at six moons old, and she was only two, but only a mouse-brain would pass this up. "Yes!" she declared. She could show all the other kits who was boss! Sure, she might not be able to use her claws, but it was fine. What was the point of harming your own Clanmates? But at the same time, she had to be extra strong. Oh well, she'd have to wait a bit longer to learn everything and use her claws.

"I can't wait to fight. When I'm a warrior, I'll destroy BunnyClan! I'll tear up their leader and deputy, and those RiverClan cats as well. I'll make Dawnstar proud and serve my Clan just like a cat should!" Ivykit puffed out her chest. "Can I see the Sky Glade, where the fight took place? I want to learn as much as I can!"

Dandelionpaw was honestly shook. She felt bad for scaring her brother. She honestly just wanted to kill that dumb Windclan cat! Seeing her brother in such a terrible state made her miserable. Who could have done something like that? A terrible cat would! Ooo she was so angry. If- if she was in that battle wolfwhisper wouldn’t have any scars. Stupid apprentice training! But she wasn’t ready to fight, reality was soooo annoying!

Wolfwhisper seemed to have already went to the medicine cats den, hence the fact he just left the medicine cats den. She just- she just wanted to yell at him for going on that patrol to the border! But that wouldn’t help. She sighed in frustration.

“I’m,,, sorry.” she felt guilty now. Oh stars. But how else would she react? No cat that knew her brother wouldn’t just walk pass and not ask what happen! Unlesss, they knew already. The only thing she hoped was that no one that she knew fought in the battle. But what happened, her brother was in the fight!

“You uh,, you dont look too terrible!” she mewed, trying her best to be honest. That must hurt a lot! What cat did he even fight? “Well, on the good side uh you look pretty uhm, manly?“ scars on cats made them look more, uhm fierce, right? So that could be a good thing! “Well uhm, did we win? I’ve been caught up in so much training I’ve never really listened to the clan meetings lately..” which was a horrible idea. She would have known and and she would have helped her brother in the battle!

The morning sun was starting to rise, light filtering in through the mouth of the den and casting its rays across Loonfeather's face. He made a face before opening a single yellow-green eye to see that it was time to face a new day. He groaned as he pushed himself up and began to wash his speckled black and white fur, then pawed the sleep from his eyes.

Getting to his feet he looked around at the other sleeping cats, considering waking one of them up to see if they wanted to do anything today, then thought better of it. Certainly he'd be able to find someone else already awake in the clearing. With one last shake of his pelt, he stepped out into the sunlight and scanned the clearing, looking for someone to head off with.

"Hey! Loonfeather!" the female Warrior called. "Over here!"

Hopepelt was relaxing in the morning sun, a large smile on her face (like always). Her fur seemed ruffled as if she hadn't bothered to clean it that morning and her amber eyes looked tired as if she had woken up early, yet she didn't show that last statement. As she patted a patch of grass next to her in a way to say 'sit down', she continued.

"How are you doing this morning? Had a nice sleep? I sure didn't. Slept like a log 'till about just past Moonhigh, then I woke up and haven't been able to get back to sleep other that dozing off for a bit."

Loonfeather lifted his head at the sound of his name, smiling when he noticed Hopepelt.

Trotting over to her, he settled down next to her in the patch of grass that she had indicated. She had certainly found a nice spot to lounge in; the morning sun sent waves of warmth across his fur. Now that he was closer he could see she looked a bit unkempt, and was about to ask her what had happened when she started speaking again.

“Not since Moonhigh? That’s horrible, Hopepelt. Do you want to go for a walk, maybe? Sometimes after I take a nice long walk I’ll either feel ready for the day or I’ll be tired enough to take a nap.”

Shadestorm's frown got deeper and darker, slightly
aggravated at the other warrior's behavior. One day he'd
be leader over all of Shadowclan and then he could show
others how to act, but not now, not yet, he would have to
wait a little more for that satisfaction.

"She does, she's a smart cat" unlike some other cats here...
"But she doesn't need some warrior she doesn't know to come and tell
her when her own father is already doing a fine job with it" he mewed,
calmly but with an cold edge to his voice. "I don't see why you should be
here at all. If you ever become her mentor" which Starclan, i doesn't
hope happens "You can tell her, but for now, I think I can handle it!"

He was about to continue talking to Ivykit about battle moves and tactics when the warrior
interrupted him AGING and introduced them self, not to Shadestorm, the cat they had been
rude to but to his daughter. "Well, with a name like that you'd expect them to be, oh Idk,
quiet maybe?" He thought to him self, because oh was the cat all expect that.

Dissuading to ignore the cat he crouched down a little and smiled at Ivykit.
"This is the most common stands before you attack" he explained while
tensing up his muscles to look as strong as possible. "Then you pounce and
swipe, like this" he mewed and leaped towards Silentwhisper. His claws were
sheathed and he aimed to it looked impressive but he wouldn't actually touch
the other warrior unless they were mouse-brained and suddenly took a step forward.

Silentwhisper stepped toward "Wanna fight?!" He yelled
