Snowpaw giggled, "I have fallen to the great Willowstone!" she announced, humoring the kit. She got up and shook the dust out of her fur before moving to join Willowkit.

Grabbing the bird and wedging herself between Snowpaws front paws Willowkit began rapidly fleecing the bird of all its feathers, nothing if not experienced in the process of plucking by now. "How was hunting? Did anything interesting happen?" She asked between fluffy mouthfuls.

Antfrost was laying leisurely in her best, watching her kits as the moved around and interacted with each other. She loved them, sure, but sometimes being a queen was so... boring. The only cat she was friendly with at the moment was bumblestripe, but her was out doing who knows what at the moment. She heaved a sigh, looking drowsily at the nursery entrance, waiting for a cat to walk in.

Snowpaw watched as Willowkit plucked the bird of its feathers, and took a moment to think about the question, "hmm, well, I almost got my toe cut off by a crab!" she mewed, though she might've been exaggerating just a bit.

Almost as if on cue, Spottedsun strolled into the nursery. He wasn't the father of any of the kits in there, but that didn't mean he couldn't check on them. Besides, there wasn't anyone to talk to in the clearing, and the tom couldn't stand to be on his own for more than a few heartbeats. Scanning the moss beds, his blue eyes fell upon Antfrost. "Hello," he greeted the molly, dipping his head. "How've they been doing?" His tailtip flicked down to gesture at the kits by her side.

The kits head shot up as she looked at the other she cat shocked and excited. "Wait really!? A crab how? what happened? Did you kill it? Is your toe ok?" She frantically snagged Snowpaws paws with her own and investigated them her twitching whiskers giving away her excitement about the story.

Antfrost dipped her head politely to Spottedsun, "they've been doing quite well, thanks" she responded, turning her head to quickly check on the kits. She didn't really know how she ended up with all these kits, but you know what? She was weirdly fine with it. Well, she's fine with it since they are running around everywhere and yelling. Hopefully her kits weren't the type to do that. Turning her head back to face spottedsun she asked, "And how have you been doing?"

Snowpaw laughed. She was ok, sure, though it did scare her quite a bit, to be completely honest. "Yeah, it was huge!" she started, "Well, when I pounced on it, I tried to pin it down by its weird claw things (pincers), but it lashed out! It's claws closed down on my paw." she explained, showing Willowkit the faint mark, "but luckily, I was able to kill it before it could do any real damage" she finished.

"I've been well, thank you," The tom gave a gentle purr, lifting his tail as a kit ran behind him so as to avoid it getting stepped on. "Goodness, it sure is hectic in here." Spottedsun's eyes trailed after the running kit, before moving back to the queen he was speaking with. "I love it," he admitted, gesturing to the chaos around him. "Never a dull moment in here... though I guess it can get a bit much if you're in here all the time, huh?"

Antfrost rolled her eyes and let out a sigh, "it's always a bit much." she responded, "honestly, sometimes I wish I was still a warrior" she added. Though she did want be able to go swim in the river, or hunt or something, she mainly wanted to get out of the nursery so that she could see her mate, Elktooth.
