He hadn't been fond of the idea of kittens, but his mate always wanted them but seeing the lifeless kit before him was almost too much. "I'm sorry." He murmered to his mate. At the mention of another kit, he turned to the little ones curled into her side. He looked at the one she suggested be Tumblekit.
He leaned in. "Are you a little Tumble?" He asked, a joke most certainly, but he felt the name fit this one. He turned back to Sunpetal. He watched the little scrap crawl towards her, a seemingly positive reaction. "I believe she agrees with you. So Tumblekit it is."
He kept the rest of his focus solely on them, trying to pay as little mind to the tiny, cold body at his flank as he laid down, keeping it from his mate's sight. She didn't need any further stress. She's been through so much as it is.
