Re: Sleepy Thicket
Wait, follow Whitepaw's lead? Okay now this was something Whitepaw could roll with, she viewed it as being the center of attention which, of course, gave her an ego boost. "Alright." She said, showing her hunting crouch, it was decent, a few flaws her and there, mostly with her tail and it's position being just a bit too low. But other than that, it was good enough. "I'm assuming that is good, considering I've had hunting training before."
She didn't, really care how good it was? But the better you are with the boring things, the quicker you can get the boring things over with. || @Fae || [Btw, should we do the optional prompt?] |

Re: Sleepy Thicket
She adjusted her tail up as they said, hopefully this would work for the warrior. Then, she went to catch onto the scent of something, she had scented a rodent, most likely just a mouse nearby. "Alright, I sense a mouse." She said, signaling to her patrol partner the direction of where it was at, or, where she thought it was at, she honestly didn't care that much.
|| @Fae || [I'd be fine with either, but maybe Acorn?] |
Re: Sleepy Thicket
[ You guys can skip my turn for the hunting portion of this since it's mostly them being watched! ]
Hmm, feathers and something special. An interesting twist on the typical assessment. (Not that ambushing them was normal.) Lionstorm liked it. As the two scampered off, Lionstorm flashed Sassyfire a grin. "Remember the plan -- once they're done and ready to return to us, it's go time." Without waiting, he started after the direction Spiderpaw had run. He'd keep low, staying to bushes and being mindful to remain quiet and at a distance as he followed to observe how things went. Re: Sleepy Thicket
She had followed Acornwhisker along, hoping to help catch the prey but then...uh... she caught up and saw the cat stuck in a log. "Yes I'm...here, did you get stuck?" The shecat couldn't resist laughing at all.

Re: Sleepy Thicket
"Hm..." She haden't learned how to get cats out of logs, but had an idea, not a...nice one but, it'd work. "Okay so, this might be a...bit painful." She said, then biting on Acornwhisker's and pulling on it to try and get her out.
[You have full right to get mad at White for her terrible idea lol] || @Fae || |
Re: Sleepy Thicket
Sagewing crept into the sleepy thicket. She had no idea where she was, and alone, for the first time in her life, she felt scared. At least as a kit she was allowed to stay in the nursery...
her red calico fur caught on a thorn, and she jumped, knocking her head on a thick and withered branch. "Ow!" Looking down at her paw, she saw there was a thorn deeply embedded in it. "Maybe I should tell Snakepaw..." She thought mildly. "No, he has too much to do already." |
