Re: ShadowClan Clearing
Today was a day like any other, except that Leopardpaw had woken up with a massive headache. A steep price to pay, but the young apprentice didn't mind as she padded out from the apprentices' den. Night time was the only time she managed to slip out from camp and wander the borders. She was young, six moons to be exact, but already her thirst for knowledge of the other Clans far succeeded her desire for getting a full nights rest.
Blue eyes still danced with stars as she took a moment to familiarize herself with her surroundings. Nursery. Warriors Den. Shadowledge. Medicine Den. Leopardpaw's gaze moved smooth, fluid around the ShadowClan camp. Places she had grown up knowing. A soft sight left her as she took a seat, deciding first to give her fur a morning groom before getting her day started. (open!) |
Re: ShadowClan Clearing
Croakkit stared at the entrance, contemplating whether she should sneak out or not.
Buzzardpaw sat by the apprentices den, mumbling to herself and shivering. Swampkit prodded at one of the animals on the prey pile, wondering when it died. [Activity post, don't reply] |

:heartbounce: - @Peril (Brackenfire- being confused while being existed around)
While some strange things had happened to Brackenfire over the span of her life, strangers approaching her and being all flirty and friendly like they were besties was new. She didn´t really get ¨flirted¨ with, or rather, if she did, she didn´t notice it at all. Her sharp yellow eyes turned on Honeyspring, ears pricked and claws sliding out instinctively as she was greeted by the other warrior. Eyes widening, then narrowing in befuddlement, she frowned curiously. Yeah, she could try and scare the molly away, but where was the fun in that? She was already having significant romantic feelings towards one of her close friends, he-who-should-not-be-named, but he was an important cat in the Clan. She... how you say... wasn´t really. She was getting there, being Dawnstars alleged daughter and already having an apprentice even though she had been made a warrior a little more than a moon ago. Only once she was within good standing with the Clan would she ever attempt to take things further. Why she was thinking like this, she didn´t know. How strange she was, taking one friendly, not-so subtle flirty cat and her mind was up and running with conspiracy theories and long mental debates over romance. Gah. She smiled sweetly, flicking her tail. ¨Well, Honeyspring. What a pleasure it is to see you.¨ She eyed the lizard that the other cat had brought as an offering. Mm. Food. Now that the gift had been given, Brackenfire already liked this cat a lot. ¨I´m absolutely fabulous, my friend. How are you?¨ |

~ IVYPAW ~
Ivypaw wasn't always the biggest fan of kits, but she did at least appreciate the fact that this one was willing to learn. She wasn't scared of fighting or blubbering about dying, like some other cats that she had met before. Like Ashhiss. Ivypaw frowned as she remembered that blubbering queen. How pathetic. Needlekit was young and seemed to want to learn, and kits could be annoying sometimes, but once again, Ivypaw had been a kit herself not too long ago. She watched Needlekit as the she-kit crouched down and jumped. She didn't go very far, but she landed neatly. When I first practiced it, I was pretty wobbly. Ivypaw frowned. She didn't like cats outperforming her. But I was better at other things. I was young, too. I'm still better than Needlekit. She's getting it, but she has some way to go. Ivypaw nodded. "Better. You still have to learn how to jump farther, but that should come with time." It might be petty not to teach her extra because she didn't want Needlekit to outperform her, but she'd learned enough for now. The Clan matters more, and she's eager to learn. You might as well. Needlekit was still unsteady, but Ivypaw had only been two moons when she had first learned the move, too. She sighed inwardly. Why not. "Next time, before you leap, put more weight into your haunches. It'll bring you farther. And then we can stop there." Ivypaw considered teaching her the front paw swipe, but she decided against it. She was still young and had a lot to learn, so maybe she shouldn't go beyond that. @Raven~ |

@Mauve
Sharppaw was tired from her day of training. She had exhausted a lot of energy and needed to take a breath to relax. She also hadn't eaten all day do that was a thing. Food was necessary for keeping up the energy. The lithe car picked out a piece of prey, a small dove, and took a rather hidden by shadows position in the clearing. She plucked the feathers off thoughtfully. Weepingshade had said she'd done a good job, but was it good enough? She was upset that Silverstripe's failure to train her had reflected on her poorly. She was only a rather new apprentice but she wondered if she could do better. She had do much to strive for, with a dad and uncle like hers. |
