Needlekit stared at Ivyfang as she slid her claws over the stone with a satisfying sound. She waved her tail, her eyes bright with curiosity. She went over to Ivyfang eagerly. “Hi, Ivyfang!” She meowed happily. “What are doing?” She says down next to the she-cat. She wondered why she was using a giant slab of rock to sharpen her claws instead of a pine tree. She had always assumed that was how you sharpened your claws. Or is it that you use rocks and not trees? It was an interesting little theory.

Ivyfang sighed. Oh, great. A kit. Everything I could possibly need. "Hello, Needlekit. I'm simply sharpening my claws-to make sure there in tip-top shape." Now that she thought about it, a kit would make a good target if they ever invaded a camp or something. She tried to pretend to hide an evil gleam in her eye, but there was nothing extremely hidden about it.

Rookscreech was awake. And she didn't have patrol. And she didn't have training anymore because she was a warrior. And she was alone as usual. Rookscreech had nothing to do. In these cases, she tended to curl up on the territory in some hidden place abd just have a chat with herself. Talking to yourself was weird, sure, but it wasn't like anyone also would ever talk to her.

"A rock is harder, and will work better." Ivyfang snapped. How dare this little kit randomly question her tactics? In her opinion, this critter was a mite too nosy.

“Really?” Needlekit bounced back up and unsheathed her claws. She stretched up so she could reach the rock and scratched the surface, trying to do it like Ivyfang. Then she glanced at her claws, examining them carefully. “They don’t look very different,” She commented.

Ivyfang hissed with annoyance. "You have push down!" She pressed her claws slowly down the surface of the boulder. It made a satisfying shriiieeek!
