At least Rainburst seemed to be taking what Owlfeather said and keeping it in mind. Good, since she disliked cats who were stubborn, self-centered, or just dumb enough to refuse to ever change or grow from their mistakes. And the large molly had a feeling Rainburst would think a little closer about Dawnstar's words next time.

Her ear twitched when the other warrior mentioned her wounds. Yes, she had still to go and get that checked, have been busy with reporting, and then taking Nettlepaw to bring back the lizard and vole. "I'll wait until he is done with Lilykit." It was what some might consider childish, but she'd rather not interact with that thing. She remembered Dawnstar's words, that she should have left a kit like that to die. Shadowclan didn't need more useless tics running around, and if one was to go against so clear orders like that... 'What has Shadowclan's youth come to.' "He is busy right now." An excuse maybe rather than her actual reason, but believable logic. "If that's all, I have to go and discuss recent events with Nettlepaw." She didn't actually, she and her niece had never been close, only really meeting when Owlfeather had a job for the apprentice, like hunting rabbits (or going out at all with the new rules), that want better with two.

By the time she finally tumbled out of the nursery, Magpiekit was rather irked by her sister's endless stream of complaining. It was like she'd never shut up about it. Besides, she didn't even know what Purekit was talking about. What even was "thrifted"? She still didn't know, but of course, she wasn't going to admit it. "I like don't even care if it's not thrifted. Just look at it. Yeah, take a real good look. And tell me, are you like blind or can you just not see how exceptional this rock is? I spent days searching the entire clearing for the best rock in the world and I obviously found it. So I'm perfectly fine with the rock I have already, thank you very much," she mewed, with a sassy little flick of her tail. "I guess you're just jealous that you don't have one too." She trotted a little farther ahead, kicking the rock along with her, so her sister couldn't see the tiny smirk on her face. "Now, about that moss..."
