The orange she-cat sneered as a warrior approached. The implication of jealously brought back her anger in an instant. "Jealous? JEALOUS? We aren't jealous, we're downright NEGLECTED. I haven't been made a warrior because no cat has bothered to show any interest in my well being. So no, I don't want you to take me for private training, I want the clan to stop focusing on the chosen few and give EVERY CAT THE SAME LEVEL OF ATTENTION," she snarled, hackles rising. "If you want to do something how about pointing out the favoritism that's being blatantly displayed! I'll handle my training myself," she finished with a scoff, irritation causing her tail to lash. (I'm so sorry, Ember is just salty right now cause of character development I promise) |
Re: The Weeping Tree
Possumpaw > Male[he/him] > Post 35 He had thought they were alone, but here came a warrior. A dumb warrior! At this point he hated them and refused to say that he was anything like them. He was nothing like the warriors in the clan. Maybe being a warrior isn't what he wanted to be when he'd have to work hard just to be noticed. That was just it though. He couldn't give up on his dream of being a warrior. |
Re: The Weeping Tree
When he left camp, he hadn't intended on heading to the weeping tree.
Jaystride didn't have any specific place in mind, really. The world around him was blurry, a disorienting darkness he was unable to focus on as he stumbled through the forest. The adrenaline keeping him going was fading, but thankfully he had a nose for his favorite herb and was able to retrieve some in the blackness. It never kicked in immediately, but the sharp scent alone is enough to ease some tension. He took a breath, shaky paws keeping him grounded as his gaze swept over his surroundings. The pain would not subside, but Jaystride was pretty decent at ignoring it. keep going. keep going. whatever the cost. In the blackness, he could make out the shape of the barrier he made. Great. He had no intention of entering the graveyard, and instead followed the barrier throughout the forest. keep going. A distant flutter of wings, the scratching of paws on dirt. Tensed muscle. A breath held, and released as expert paws glided along the ground and lifted off, aimed for a rodent between roots. A collision of forces, with the victory bestowed by a dark paw. Pinned in place, the mouse flailed but could not escape, as teeth silenced it forever with a final squeak. The world was quiet once more, and Jaystride took his kill and buried it. He was not done yet, despite the heat that seeped between his shoulder blades, a trickle of blood down his chest. His paws were itching to do more, to keep going. No amount of pain could stop him. Away from the tree, he crept through the night. Away from the dead, he listened for sounds of life. More scratching noises, though this was not a mouse. Again, paws slide acrossed the earth, movement before a killer's pounce. A violent yank, as a paw collided with a mole pushing above ground. A twitter of alarm, shrill and painful as teeth sank into his paw. A flare of anger, followed by a dying squeak as the mole's neck snapped. It lay limply near his paw, and he collected it and sought to return to his mouse, and then, home. Blood ran freely, and he'd need to take a dip in the stream before he made it back to camp. Jaystride was disinterested in leaving a trail of blood in his wake. |

"Wow." She rolled her eyes "Big words for a shortie,I was only offering." She hissed, ears flattening @Bliss. "If you want to be noticed, go do something big not argue with a warrior" She pointed out, ears still flat. |

The audacity of this cat was starting to really grate on her nerves. Was this warrior really suggesting they do something to get noticed? "I don't know if you noticed, Dovecloud, but we are apprentices. It's not our job to get noticed, it's our job to GET TRAINED. And at the moment, our training is being neglected by our mentors in favor of training and promoting cats that have caused nothing but drama and trouble. So how about instead of pretending that you care you either go confront the obvious problem, or leave us the hell alone?" Emberpaw spat. She was so done with so-called warriors telling her what she should and shouldn't do. It's not like it had advanced her any closer to her goals. Standing, she turned away from Dovecloud and gave Possumpaw a tap on the shoulder with her tail. "Let's go, I've had enough of this." |

~ Sand'Smoke | OPEN ~ ~ Y'know, Sand'Smoke hadn't originally planned to come to the graveyard, really he had wanted to go hunting, but something about the way ThunderClan had seemed to just.. forget all the deaths, and the recent battle for the Cove, Sand'Smoke just couldn't take his mind away from it.. |

**•̩̩͙✩•̩̩͙*˚ @Atticus @Willie Warf ˚*•̩̩͙✩•̩̩͙*˚* The tripod felt like she was doing quite well with her new disability, hopping along behind her patrol mates, picking up the pace after a moment to try and walk side by side with her clan mates. As they got to the Weeping Tree, Cloudyflight couldn't help glancing around for any rogues about to jump out at her. "Alright. Call out if you find a cluster or something." She said with a small twitch of her whiskers, then she padded off in the direction left of where they stood, surveying the area for the yellow flowers that she was told to look for. |
