Magpiekit didn't take kindly to her sister's insults. Half of them were true, yes, but she still wanted to slap Purekit across the face. She didn't though. Imagine what that could do to taint her persona. She was about to hurl a mild insult or two in return, when at last the focus drifted away from arguing and towards something much better--butterflies!
"Wait, for real?" she mewed in disbelief. What were those funky little things doing fluttering around in this cold? Oh well, whatever the case, it didn't matter.
"Literally come on! Don't just stand there with your ugly jaw wide open! We've got to catch them before anyone else tries to beat us to it!" Not wasting another breath, the tiny molly launched herself forward, springing off the ground to snatch one of the bugs out of the sky. But alas, she fell
a bit short (more like several tail-lengths off) and landed on her rear with a hard thump.
"oWWwwwW!!! What the hell?! Why can't I grab it? It's like they don't want to be caught or something. Imagine that. What kind of stupid creature wouldn't want to help decorate our fur?" With an exasperated huff, Magpiekit twirled herself around to see if Purekit had any more luck.
