Keen yellow eyes peered out of the shadows bordering the camp, watching as cats passed by. The small cat licked his chops, savoring the lingering taste of frog that still clung to his mouth. His gaze briefly flickered to the bare skeleton that lay by his paws. Would Dawnstar want the bones? Maybe, but it wasnt like she couldnt get a frog skeleton herself. She was out teaching ThunderClan how to be a clan anyways (which frankly said a lot about them, in his opinion), so there wasnt any use in thinking about that now. So, digging a shallow hole in the dirt, the kit swept the remains into it and covered them back up. Warblerkit sighed, laying down with his legs tucked underneath his body as he got back to cat watching.

Willowkit had just leapt into the air trying to grab a ball of moss, but missed just barely and tumbled into the ground the moss ball rolling away from her. Getting up and shaking the dirt out of her fur she turned her blue and greens eyes to the moss ball, it was right infront of the kit she had known as something along the lines of Wobblekit, Wobblerkit? Warblerkit! Thats right, she decided to come say hi he seemed a little shy, hiding in the shadows like that but she couldn't say anything when she did the same thing only she didn't blend in as well as Warblerkit, her brown and black spots did just not the white. She ended up infront of the kit. "Hi! do you want to play with me?" she asked before grabbing the moss ball.

★ Loonfeather ★
The white tom flecked with black just stood staring as Owlfeather and Gingercry attacked each other. His paws felt too heavy to move, and many thoughts swirled in his brain. He knew what they must be fighting about, but he had no control over his own body at the moment to try to intervene.

Sorrelkit watched with an eerie silence as her grandfather and Owlfeather fought. The split faced chimera was... Was horrified. So why didn't she go and help her own flesh and blood? Was it selfishness that froze her paws to the ground? Fear? No, neither of those, more like self preservation that kept her from flinging her inexperienced self into battle. But her upbringing made her realize that above all things, you needed to save yourself. It was Sorrelkit that we her first priority, then her family came next. So selfishness might play into her taking the initiative to stay on the sidelines. But there was one cat that the feuding cats would possibly listen to, and that was her father. Marching forward, the two Faced molly stuck a paw out to produce him in the side as hard as she possibly could. "Stop them, daddy!" Sorrelkit demanded, then spat out her hypocrisy laced words. "You're so selfish if you keep letting them do this, you're really strong you can make them stop."

**Sunsetpaw**

Sunsetpaw could feel her sister beside her look towards their father. The golden she-cat lifted her eyes and followed Chamomilepaw's gaze to the grey black tom doing nothing as their grandfather fought and struggled. Her mind flipped trying to come up with some reasonable explanation. Her father was a loveless warrior but she couldn't reason him to be an idle by-passer while such a disruption was taking place either. Her eyes scanned the other cats, quickly noticing Golddenstep and Petalkit, their eyes wide in horror at the nursery entrance. Her uncle Loonfeather was watching the whole ordeal. She didn't want to leave Chamomilepaw, though she wasn't quite sure if that urge was more for her or for her sister, but she also wanted to go to her mother and younger sisters. Until she glanced back at her father and noticed Sorrelkit. She couldn't quite hear what her younger sister was saying but the tension in her body made her tense herself.

**Elmshadow**
@poppy.

Elmshadow's expression didn't waver as his eyes fluidly tracked the ongoing fight disrupting the quiet of the clearing. His body was tight, ready to jump into action if necessary, but not tense with anticipation. Then a small voice piped beside him. He recognized his young daughter's voice and didn't bother looking down at her as she called him out. When she'd finished, Elmshadow let a heartbeat pass before answering. He kept his green eyes intently on the fight in front of him as he spoke lowly to Sorrelkit, "There are things that you will not understand until you are older. Owlfeather is more than capable of handling the situation on her own and Gingercry can handle himself well. They are both seasoned and experienced warriors, sometimes disagreements need a chance to sort themselves out. The rest will be dealt with when this is over. Now go sit with your mother."

| @Ravensong - since Sorrel getting in the way would mess the plot up, feel free to have elm grab her tail or smth and keep her from getting in the way of ginger and owl ^^|

An offended hiss came in response as her father merely brushed her off. He didn't even LOOK at her. Even if he was older, she knew her worth and she would not be disrespected like this! Daddy could either look her in the eye when responding or not responding at all. Sorrelkit flattened her ears, jerking her head in the direction of the fight."Obviously he CAN'T handle himself, Daddy." He was wrong, she understood EVERYTHING there was to understand in this world. She was smart and strong and knew everything!

Her split color face was twisted in frustration as he told her to go sit with Mama. She was going to, but now that stinky Daddy told her to, she was going to NOT. That would show him! Popping down, aiming to land on his tail and sit on top of it, she glared forward, mouth scrunched into a frown and nose wrinkled. Despite herself, she became horrified by her grandpa being hurt and let a desolate moan, sinking closer to the ground, hopefully crushing for of her daddy's tail, and covered her face with her paws. How could Daddy even watch this?? Popping back up to her paws, wobbling a bit, she leaped forward, her small kit paws outstretched towards the ground as she tried to run forward and help her grandaddy!! "Well I'M gonna help... I'll be more helpful than you, you big.... You... You TURD HEAD! " She was proud of herself. That was a really good insult. Turd head was always a good snark.

~~Blossompaw~~

{OPEN}

Blossompaw sighed. She was happy to be an apprentice now, but it felt wrong. The young black-and-white she-cat hadn't had much more training with Necteryawn. She felt like maybe taking care of the elders would make her feel useful. The young molly looked around, her green eyes scanning the camp.

She was nearing her apprenticeship, and she expected Dawnstar back from ThunderClan any day now to do her apprentice ceremony. She was quite cross that the stinky leader had decided to go take over ThunderClan just as she was turning six moons old, which was, well, CLEARLY irriating !!

She avoided the leaves that had fallen into the clearing, since she liked to keep her paws clean, thank you very much. She jumped over a twig, since it was going to POKE her and then she'd fall over and get dirt EVERYWHERE all over her beautiful pelt !!!!!!! It was unthinkable, UNACCEPTABLE, even.

Light blue hues, clear as the sky, landed on another kit nearby, in a patch of sunlight leaking through the trees above. Ooh, a kit to bully. A smirk flickered briefly on her expression before she elegantly padded over, nose lifted high regally as she pretended to almost bump into the kit. Out of the corner of her eye, Frostkit attempted to recognise her. Needlekit, right? The silver kit might've seen her somewhere around camp... but she wasn't sure. Her paw brushed casually against the sitting kit's haunches, and faked a half-trip, before steadying herself, putting on an indignant air.

"HEY! Mind sitting a bit closer to, like, a den or something?? You could've tripped me," she huffed. She considered herself a good actor, honestly. "And then I would get so much DISGUSTING stuff on my fur and break my bone and it would all be your fault." Straightening into a posh, dignified posture, she flattened one ear, scowling at Needlekit.

Needlekit stared at Frostkit, confused. Was Frostkit mad at her…for sitting? Although Needlekit wasn’t a hundred percent sure, she was pretty sure that there were no rules to sitting down in some sunlight. Dawnstar made it clear what the rules were, and sitting close to the dens was not one of them. ”But…then how would I be able to sit down in the sun?” Needlekit asked Frostkit. “All the dens are so shadowy, terrible for sunning.” And what was with the whole disgusting thing? They were cats living in the forest! Of course they were going to get dirty from time to time. Needlekit would be surprised if they didn’t get dirty. But Needlekit could tell that Frostkit was getting angry, and that adding this very clever point wouldn’t help Needlekit’s case. So instead she kept her mouth shut and waited for Frostkit to respond.

Featherpaw
Most of the time, Featherpaw was able to busy herself with a peaceful walk through the glade underneath the wide expanse of stars. Watching them glitter and twinkle above her, copper eyes shifting thoughtfully as she tried to sort through which might belong to the spirits of cats she had once known. It brought her a great deal of comfort, especially now that she was gaining a better understanding of the Clan she had been born into. Violence, fighting... pelt gifting - it was enough to make bile rise up and coat her throat.

But if there was one thing that the young she-cat knew how to do, it was to pretend. So in the middle of the clearing she sat, her tongue stroking the fur along her shoulder in rhythmic strokes. Her eyes remained half-lidded as she worked to groom her fluffy pelt. Briefly, her mind wandered to where her sister might be and if the amount of trouble she was getting herself into would finally earn her a punishment.
