Things were for the better. He has a mate, kits, and a safe life. I have..." she faltered. She no longer had her mate, Lionfrost. "ShadowClan...?" The last word sounded more like a question rather than a determined answer

"He did not abandon me! He was murdered!" she said feeling a familiar weight of grief. "Ravenpaw helped me through it." She said raising her chin. She had thought he had left her, but it wasn't until ShadowCkan found his corpse, he had realised that she was wrong.
