Alexa purred and gave her best friend a lick on the shoulder. She felt something stirr inside her belly and it wasn't the kits. It was a odd feeling.

Berry's fur fluffed up a bit at her friends lick and her heart stirred with a feeling felt for her friend, love. But for some reason, It wasn't platonic. Real love.

Alexa looked away and laid down, her swollen belly causing her to feel exhausted. The molly rested her head on her paws and motioned for Berry to lay down as well.

Alexa rested her head on her swollen belly and drifted off to take a small nap.

Alexa woke up late in the night, feeling a pain in her swollen belly. Is it time?, she thought. The molly stood up and began to feel uncomfortable. After a while she began to give her belly fur a few wash's with her tongue to try and help the pain a bit.

Berry had woke up when Alexa shifted. "What's wrong? Are the kits coming? Are you in pain? Well of course you would be in pain if the kits are coming, do you need something help with the pain? Or-" Berry cut herself off before she rambled a little too much. "I'll get you something for the pain." She slipped out of the den and then dashed back in a few minutes later with a strong stick. "I saw one of the clans do it when a queen was kitting. Bite down on it when the contractions come... I think."

Alexa nodded and let out a cry of pain. She watched as her best friend dashed away. The molly rested her head on the ground and began to breathe in and out loudly. She stood up and turned herself around to get comfortable again. Alexa looked up to see Berry come back with a stick. A contraction came and she bit down and her yowl wasn't too loud.

(Sorry I'm late, I was grounded and my parents blocked WCO on my laptop.)

Berry didn't know what else to do. Her brain scrambled for something, ANYthing to do for her friend, but she wasn't trained to do this! The stick trick was the only thing she actually knew about kitting! However, she tried to keep calm as her best friend's kits came.
