Swirlkit and Orchardkit were best buds. They did everything together. They climbed rocks together, got stuck in trees together, played mouse and warrior together; Orchardkit always was the mouse because she wanted to be! They'd play mossball together. The kits were now, two moons old. One day, Orchardkit, Swirlkit, and Honeykit were talking.

Swirlkit smiled," I can't wait to be leader...You can be deputy Orchardkit, and you can be my head warrior Honeykit!"

Honeykit pouted," I want to be leader, you'll be the head warrior!"

Orchardkit kept her lip bit, Honestly, being a warrior doesn't sound fun She sighed and finally spoke up and said,"

A Yeah... I'll be deputy. (Without much hope and sadly agrees for her sister and BFF)

B I-umm... I don't want to be deputy.

C I wanna be your medicine cat instead!

D I don't want to be a warrior at all.

Orchardkit sheepishly blinked," I Don't wanna be a warrior!" she finally blurted out

Honeykit blinked in silence, before slowly responding,"You want to be a kittypet?"

Swirlkit frowned," You don't plan to leave the clan, do you?"

Orchardkit responded carefully," Kittypets are wimps, and I don't want to leave the clan..."

Honeykit frowned," Ohh..You want to be a kit forever?"

Orchardkit shook her head," It isn't like that... I want to grow up, but I want to take another path, one you guys aren't taking."

Swirlkit blinked," What path?"

Orchardkit replied with a smug expression on her face,"

A I want to be the medicine cat
B I want to help other cats
C I want to be the BEST medicine cat ever
D I wanna see where my paws lead me... I just don't know yet.
