A silent giggle lit up Wrenkit’s face as he crossed his eyes to peer at Buckstar’s paw bopping his nose. This cat seemed like he was fun- Wren wondered how he became clan leader since he’d heard that leaders were all about responsibility and yucky boring stuff like that. Buckstar seemed too fun to be leader and Wren momentarily wished he could ask him about it. Swallowkit and Buckstar both roused him from his self-pity by their argument and he smirked at his sister. She seemed to be getting what she wanted. It appeared Wren wasn’t necessary at this point, though, so he chose Buckstar to be his fur buddy. Giving a wave of his tail to Kes and Swall, Wren unsheathed his baby claws and attempted to climb up Buckstar like a tree, aiming to come to rest directly on the older tom’s head. |

[ @Beau, @SorrelClaw ] "OW! wrenkit, that hurts, get off!" man, those claws were sharp! he staggered under the weight of a near-full-grown kit on his head and promptly toppled over. he slammed into the dirt with a grunt, his paws splayed out to the side. this was the second time he'd been taken down by a kit - only this time, it was for real. at berrykit's voice, he glanced over and grinned weakly. "it's fine, kiddo. come here, join the buck pile." he stretched one paw out in an inviting gesture. "just for a few minutes, and then you need to go listen to swallowkit." |

Charkit glanced around for a fur buddy,” I need a fur buddy.” he yowled loudly as he skimmed the clearing for another kit without a fur buddy. He’d put his right side on the outside because his shoulder had been burned already so it clearly was fireproofed now right? That couldn’t be burned again. |

The voice of another kit piped up and Wrenkit made a point of pausing in his movements to turn and roll his eyes at whoever it was who had spoken. Besides, this wasn’t that kit’s dad- this was Buckstar and Buckstar didn’t have a family! The calico wanted to squeal with triumph as Buckstar fell but of course he couldn’t. Instead, he satisfied himself with crawling and sitting directly on the leader’s head, leaning and flopping his head over to peer into the tom’s eyes as he did so. Owlish green eyes locked on Buckstar’s as Wrenkit slowly stretched out to boop the leader’s nose gleefully. |
