Nightpaw smiled. Her denmates' energy was infectious. It was nice to have a teammate. Going solo was nice, because you didn't have to depend on other cats, but Buckpaw was so energetic that it was impossible not to want him around. "Best idea I've got. We just have to hope we don't forget anything on the list. You'd be in trouble if you were going by yourself." She bumped his shoulder playfully.

"I probably would." Buckpaw said with a guilty smile on his face. He was hyped for the Scavenger Hunt to start. Buckpaw couldn't wait to be racing through the forest, scouting for every item he could see. The apprentice tried to keep an organized list of all the items in his head, well knowing that it would fall apart as soon as they took off.

Nightpaw purred and twitched her whiskers expectantly. She was ready to begin the search. She wasn't sure which item they should try and go after first. Maybe the best move would be to just go into the forest and see what popped up.

Silverclaw looked at the cats gathering at the entrance. She noticed a new cat join the group. Great! The more the merrier. "Ok. On your marks, get set, start searching!" She yowled.
I'll be posting prompts and rolls on my next post. If you want, you may team up or leave your team during the race.

Nightpaw jumped at Lilypaws' command and started forward. "Come on!" she meowed to Buckpaw. She darted off in a random direction. @rosetherosey

Buckpaw bounced after Nightpaw, keeping his eyes peeled for anything that may be on the list. "Do you see anything?" He mewed, running alongside of Nightpaw as he finally caught up.

Nightpaw darted over to a tree. "I think tree bark is one of things we have to find," she replied. She tried chewing some off, but quickly sat up and spat out slivers. "That's not going to work." @rosetherosey

At the call of Lilypaw, Brightpaw took off, her tail flying out behind her as she sprinted away from the others. She figured they would all be trampling around, making a load of noise, and that would make getting the required prey items VERY difficult. Plus, if nothing else, she could have a delightful snack! She figured that it would be best to find the rabbit first, and headed in the general direction of the Windclan border, sniffing the air as she neared the moor. How anyone lived without trees was anyones guess, but this was where the rabbits would be.
